Their products are so thick bc they are a concentrated formula, meaning you dont have to use a lot, so the small bottle has lasted a good bit for me. Right now, I'm in the process of developing a hair regimen that focuses heavily on moisture, so olaplex is something I've decided to use once a month. At one point, I was using it consistently, and my hair felt better than when I started using it. I caused some damage to my hair at the end of last year. Using it consistently was fine for a bit, but since I've decided to get back into heat styling, moisture is my top priority. I love how your hair is looking. I am relaxing every 16 weeks now too, but I am wondering if it should be more like 10-12 because it gets really unmanageable by the 16th week. Could be causing more breakage fighting 2 hair textures Also, no more ponytails as it was thinning by edges, especially when I am trying to pull hair back that won't cooperate by week 16

I can definitely relate to my edges being more thin then the rest of my hair. I also notice that the back of my hair grows the fastest while the front and crown area takes longer to grow.

I was relaxing at 10 weeks. I now wait until 16 weeks and it worth it to wait a bit. Using the right products makes a big difference. I now look out for the ingredients i know what my hair likes now. And i only use a lye relaxer its so much better for hair and scalp i cant use box no lye relaxer because its so drying. So while im on relaxed journey ill be sticking with lye relaxers. Thanks for these tips! 😊

Sis a humble suggestion if you one to see your hair thicker and all or most of your hair strands in the same length over time you need to stop flat ironing your hair so often and instead look into roller setting your hair once a week, you would be amazed at how healthier your hair can get with this technique. Flat ironing is a very direct heat is too much especially for relax hair ❤ ❤

Your hair looks great. When I used to go to the salon, the stylist recommended I relax every 6 weeks. My hair was so damaged and I had to cut it all off. Thanks to TH-cam channels such as yours, I am learning how to properly care for my hair at home. I do dust my ends at home, but if I need a major cut, I go to my local great clips. I do not trust stylist anymore after that experience.

During Covid, I started trimming my own hair, and really messed it up. It was totally uneven. I kept trying to fix it, but couldn't. I finally decided to get a professional cut two years ago. She cut about 3-4 inches. I didn't want to do it, but I knew that I had to. I am now on a healthy hair journey.

Thank you so much for this. I have only dyed my hair so far but I do believe the damage I have is from the shampoos and conditioners I’ve been putting in my hair. I do love Aveda brilliant and smooth infusion but for now I need to find something a bit more affordable.
