A dark comedy-suspense about a successful writer/director who suggests brunch on her patio but little do her four guests realize that before noon the patio will be stained with their blood.
The New Adventures of Robin Hood - Godiva
This is from my old VHS copy in English that I had digitized (to replace the version I posted previously).
I also made a few minor edits to tighten the finale; changes that I would've made had I edited the episode myself. Enjoy.

An additional scene I directed for the feature film 13th Floor - the director of photographer was the late Andrew Lesnie - long before he DP'd "Lord of the Rings" and the late Grant Page [original Mad Max stunt coordinator] choreographed the fight and supervised the leg crush stunt. No double was used for actor Tim McKenzie.

Thank you
didn't notice it before but theres a pretty big blooper in this episode!! when rowena joins marion and ariel on their quest shes wearing a dress..but when they are inside godivas kingdom shes now wearing a different outfit??? and we never her saw her change outfits when did it happen??
yes that happens when scenes are taken from another episode (stock) or 2nd unit didn't talk to main unit about wardrobe continuity - sharp eye.
thanks so very much for uploading this had watched this episode here on youtube before but the episode was only available with a Polish overdub!!
I plan to upload Orphnas in the near future - keep a lookout
thank you! I love this! i've always wanted to see this episode in english. if you have anymore from season 3 or 4 please upload.
I will post Orphans in the near future and I have posted in English Vanishing Act with David Soul. I only directed 5 episodes
Muy buena !! no conocía esta versión. gracias por compartirla
mucho gracias. Encantado de que te haya gustado S
hey bro in your mmpr pilot video - just untick 'this video is for kids' in the video settings then your comments will work again :)
Hey Jordan - I have tried, but youtube will not undo it. I contacted them directly as well and they still refused to remove the kids only setting. VERY frustrating. I have done some interviews for Den of Geek that talks about my experiences on the first cluster of MMPR
Name of actresses?
Cop - Jean Lupien - Frankie Unger - Donna casey
I prefer the funny over dubed version.
Don’t usually like remakes, but Bravo!
Thank you - that means a lot. I will pass you comment onto the cast
A good remake and some wonderful actors. Greg was a bit unbelievable but the others were pretty good.
Thx Robert, for taking time to comment. Greg was a little unbelievable, but also the writing of his character reflects a weakness, which I found odd.
Can you make a playlist for the versions of pilot of the show.
I recently posted my un-aired version of the pilot th-cam.com/video/Tz6gN42tHaQ/w-d-xo.html I do not have the ability to make up a pilot playlist but I believe there were three [the latest being the Disney modified one with animated graphics a la Batman] and now a 4th, my un-aired pilot. Enjoy
Good to see such a happy couple. Best wishes you two.
Thx Sam.
In regards to the alternate MMPR episode 1, do you have the alternate EP 40, "Doomsday" before the series was extended for 20 more eps for season 1?
Sadly no, I left the show after my 4 episodes [1•2•4*11]
😢
Well done.
An illustration of credit card debt
🤣
I've never even seen this one! Thanks so much !
How is it that I've not discovered this before now? I thought I would be disappointed as the original is one of my favorite episodes. Belated kudos to the cast and crew.
Pretty much a legend in his field.
I also posted Drew creating the Phantom Menace poster art. th-cam.com/video/zKMtuc0P6VU/w-d-xo.html
😊
Wow, one of the best movies, EVER! John P.
Thx John, it was a very different type of western, while still playing homage to the usual tropes.
Wow, think boss is having second thoughts! John P.
The Irish in Australia 😊
Did they ever say why Billy quit Jason's karate class? Just glad Trini's uncle got him to start again, he reminded me of Yellow Owl in Jetman.
Hay Michael, sorry, but I only directed 4 episodes of the MMPR and can't answer your question. I am sure that question ahs been answered on other MMPR fansites

"You may have rifles, but we'll take A lot of you with us."
Sometimes discretion is the better part of valor.
I think the British Major got the message loud and clear..
As a kid, this was 🔥🔥💯💯 I loved it, they got away with sooo much stuff…but as an adult, seeing how they were kidnapped, brainwashed into being something just because a robot and floating head said so is really disturbing of you think about it!! 2nd nature morphing and knowing exactly how to battle in a Zord(Machine) again was nice back then, but wow!!
Great observation. Perhaps being of Japanese origin it might have played into their culture? Mighty gaps in logic for sure. I recall they were writing scripts the night before we shot the early episodes, and even after editing they added dialogue to simplify plot lines that were not spelled out for kids.
@@AdrianWCarr nice…I learn something everyday!! Yeah the dialogue you can is edited in, but as a 90s kids, we didn’t care..we were very impressionable lol
I remember this one. My son and I were talking and just couldn't stop watching.
I have to admit it was a loada fun to direct. I knew in my gut it would be special, but we never realized the global impact it would have.
A most under rated "western" with an incredible cast (Rickman at his villainous best)!
Agreed... "and get him out of here, he's bleeding all over the rug"
If you run, you’ll just die tired!😂
Please forgive me, but I do not understand your reference?🤔
@@AdrianWCarrOld sniper saying. If you run, you’ll just die tired! I was referring to the guy on the wagon running (riding) for his life. He couldn’t outrun the bullet.
@@small-town-southern-man3573 Love it - gotta remember that one - Cheers
"Movie trailer for Dark Age, a film I edited and directed 2nd Unit on." I'm sorry that you had to experience this.
Don't be, I knew what I was getting myself into. I got to direct 2nd unit, a great experience working with crocodiles. Sadly a particular lovemaking sequence was deemed to sexually arousing when inter-cut with a croc attack. Oh well. Got to meet some wonderful actors. The director was a little out of his depth sadly.
@WCarr Thanks for the reply, quite interesting. Was this film released, and if so, to what markets?
@@Beau74 Yes, Beau, it was released theatrically back in 1987 you can actually watch the movie on TH-cam for free th-cam.com/video/7ZigsvGl4-U/w-d-xo.html -- also worth noting this was made before computer generated creatures and filmed in 4 weeks on location.
Best film I've seen
0:19 Did that guy just declare that crocodiles are fish? 😂
Yes, it was to illustrate how naive politicians are!🤣
IDK who was the director on this movie but this scene is so moving. One of my favorites from Tom Selleck and who can forget Alan Rickman.
The director was Simon Wincer, I directed the Aboriginal portion of this sequence, Simon directed the main cast. Alan Rickman, God rest his Soul
What season and episode is it?
I do not recall but the original ep starred Barry Morse as Fitzgerald Fortune. It is available to watch on youtube. This was LA Film School exercise only.
Nice One Adrain!
Glad you enjoyed it, Martin. can't believe it's almost 30 years since NAoRH
Awesome!!
Thank you, Edward! Cheers!
Love the movie 😅
Which movie is this
It is a short exercise for an actor's demo reel@@ssamarth
He believes a man is measured by his wealth - because he has some. It's not true. The measure of a man is in his character. That makes wealthy people quite nervous because poor people can't afford to be decadent. Character and personal wealth are inversely related.
I've met a lot of poor people who will betray you for minimal gain and who constantly seethe about people who do better than them.
name of movie?
It is a teaser scene from Blood Makes Noise which plans to go into production 2026
@@AdrianWCarr you just don't want to say what movie it is ..the video was upload 14 years ago
It has taken this long to get the movie into production because of the taboo subject matter - there is another short "When The Chips Are Down" with different actors but from the same script and there is the original short film that inspired the feature script this is called Blood Makes Noise @@kenramos4772
What a fabulous vid. Such a devoted couple and what a travel through your time together. Loved the photos. Can't wait for the next 30. Much respect, Garry
Duly liked and subscribed. So many years since I first saw this and it still holds up today. Congrats Adrian.
Thx Garry. We done good.
I didn’t see the original and understand this to be a student exercise. Bravo! Absolutely enjoyed this character study.
Thx Kat - you understand the concept as a student film. I will pass on your comments to LAFS and the students involved, some who are now working in the business.
