In the distant mists surrounding Skyrim’s westernmost mountains, a lonely Dwemer tower sits on a cliff. With heavy fog and low visibility, especially at night, this episode might be best enjoyed by focusing on the audio, as the tower occasionally disappears into the fog. Nevertheless, the sweeping winds provide atmospheric ambient sounds, accompanied by Skyrim’s beautiful soundtrack.

Ya know, hot take (somehow), but I really like Morthal. It's much more water-integrated than Dawnstar and some of the others. It feels like a mini-Riften.
