Most importantly, I am fully focused on my relationship with God and bettering myself in all areas of my life. In all honesty, I feel so immensely blessed to have so much time to work on my inner self and become a better woman. However, at times when you are 27, especially in my community, you are reminded that you are getting older, "hitting the wall," and no one wants to marry a woman over thirty. It doesn’t always get to me because I have fully submitted and surrendered my entire life to God's will. Being that if it is indeed His will that I get married and have kids, I will. If not, then I will be just as content. Be that as it may, I am still human and tend to feel some type of way by being bombarded with messages about how no one wants to marry women over 30.
