@Wildwilliesrc well, i'm glad your closing in with the right settings. I really want to give it a shot coming year to get that 100, but not before water temps are good enough to swim. So that means probably waiting like 4, 5 months. Will run it before, but not all out. And since i upped kv's probably close to 75-80mph is possible on 6s so that's fast enough to play around with it and wait for the right conditions....

If your running the stock ESC be sure to let it cool after each pass. That boat/weight and prop are too much for that ESC.

Found a tiny pin hole in a cooling line so I got to checking all my boats and the nipple on the cooling jacket for the M34 was loose and leaking 🤷‍♂️

I might get some of that. I just put a Dumbo receiver in it with a balloon 🎈. Try it again tomorrow 🤘🤘🤘

@@Wildwilliesrc Yeah, it sprays on there kinda like a milkshake, but it dries to a nice waterproof seal. 'Run That RC' has a good tutorial on it

I have thought about that but it sets so low in the water that when it’s behind my boat I can’t really see it to tell the orientation. I want something taller.

@ Gotcha, makes sense. Maybe a pole with a bright colored stationary “flag” that doesn’t move, kinda like the moon landing flag with a bar on top so it stays pointing in one direction. Just throwing some ideas, a new one would be fun to build too! Could maybe put the flag on the new one as well cause it it tough to see it’s orientation really far away

@ That it was! Motors are hit or miss I feel, I’ve run a 2650kv on 6s with the bj24 for 4-5 passes and it barely gets warm. 66k rpm and takes it like a champ and then I’ll throw a much lower kv motor on the same voltage and it’ll run hot. Almost like trial and error to find the esc/motor combo that like each other lol. Gets expensive tho unfortunately

Yeah it has a sd card and I just pull it out and put it in my laptop. I think you can use your charging cord for your phone and plug the usb end into the laptop and send it that way. I have not tried it with my iPhone but will try tonight and let you know. But yes the GoPro 8 is beginner friendly cause I’m not too savvy with computers myself 🤘🤘🤘

Yeah I get all my parts from AliExpress that's were everybody else buys them they're all made in China and they just put their own tag on them mark them up , unless custom made here.... I don't mind waiting a couple weeks I'm on a strict budget now that I'm retired... And I always have another boat to run while I'm waiting for parts for one..

It’s made for like clear coating countertops. It’s water based but after it dries it’s there. I used it in the M34 and and crashed many times at really high speeds and it’s still holding strong 💪

@Wildwilliesrc for wooden countertops? I feel like its what we maybe call pu-coating. Its the hardest "scratch proof" paint/clear coat...

@peteroosterhoff8850 probably about the same thing. It works great and it doesn’t dry up so fast on you while you’re trying to work with it.

@Wildwilliesrc i use slow epoxy but a difference i see is you can easy shift your weave. That is more difficult with resin... Pu is also tough and little bit flexibel if you like. Maybe give it a try sometime...

@Wildwilliesrc nice, curious to see. Something nice to do with this cold also. I was working bit on a rc rally car. Not much progress through. Need to design/make a lipo tray that fits original mounting holes... Yeah, you were very close to "desired/calculated" speed. So my guess is it only needs minimal tweeks from now to get back to the 90mph!
