Good list but i already knew about all of these. However to be sure i checked if they were all wishlisted (they were). While doing this i was fucking baffled by the fact that mandragora is 40 fucking bucks... That's an INSANELY steep price for an MV, there's even a 50 bucks deluxe edition with preorder bonuses. This all makes me a big skeptical about wether or not this is a cashgrab as these are ubisoft/EA/activision levels of pricing...

#14 was surprisingly good. I loved figuring out how to get the true ending.

The pettable dog is the most memorable moment from Bo for me. I liked that dog a lot.

What score would you give gameplay if the bug was fixed?

i was gona preorder this and i never preorder anything anymore, at most i might preorder 1 game every few years, like monster hunter wilds or elden ring, but this game seems like its cool monster design atmosphere but not actually good game design or fun. its alrdy down to 35 bux on sale and still wanted to get it, but i think its probably not worth the time and hard drive space, maybe when its 20 which will probably be ina. year or less

I realize that this video is pretty old but I just recently re-discovered this game - I had bought it a while back and kind of forgot about it - but picked it up again and and really enjoying it, I haven't gotten to the glitches yet, apparently ;-) I was curious to see what the youtube gamerverse thought of it and there aren't a lot of folks that reviewed it - may be one of those "hidden gem" games for some. Great game

Loved this game, all the cutscenes and characters were so charming. Especially upgrading my kettle was so fun, that animation as well as the intro animation is absolutely gorgeous.

Why cant I find this on PSN?

I'm about as diehard a SH fan as they come and have been for decades now. Most people went in cautiously optimistic, i was just happy the series was back at all. They were never going to please everyone. Like what you said about enemy variety. Had they introduced several new ones you'd undoubtedly have many fans complaining about that. I think it's great, I'm 42 now and i still feel tension playing in the cramped corridors just like i did when i first played the first so, so many years ago. Performance is the only thing i have a gripe with but sadly that's to be expected with almost every new game these days. I'm beyond elated with it as a whole and sincerely hoping it brings new fans in and we keep Silent Hill going.

I feel that the game is a great on many levels. I do agree with the criticism that a lot of people have about Maria. Don’t get me wrong this one is good. But the original VA and the character just in general was done better in the original. I feel like that’s the only area of the game that kinda fell a little bit flat compared to the original. But the original VA and Maria design was just so perfectly well executed in the original that it’s just a hard one to top. But I loved the game!!

On gameplay mechanics - what the fuck are you even talking about?The battles are high-octane and annoying. The over-the-shoulder camera ruins the cinematic feeling that Silent Hill 2 had. Also - what strategy? You have one melee attack and a dodge, it doesn't let you do much. Then you have to fight like 4 enemy types that are already very samey over the stretch of TWENTY FUCKING HOURS. It was the most repetitive shit I've ever been through. Like HOW are not everyone just PUKING at this?

Best review I saw from this game. I played Silent Hill in the ps2 when it was release. Loved each replay I made through the years, every personal analysis each personal feel it gave me. This remake is not only a excellent modernization of the game, it's a tribute. I'm glad to have seen the day of this remake.

I walked a wierd route (I'm bad with directions and the like) so I unlocked the bow in the later half of the game having already got most of the upgrades😂 I ended up always forgetting I even have it, having gone through most of the game without it so hearing you prioritizing bow upgrades in your experience shows how different this game can be played, making experiencing it even more unique😊💛
