This is my V2.0 DIY vibratory tumbler. The motor orientation mimics the Lot-O and IMO works great. It's super easy to build! More videos to come...

Your voice reminds me of action movie narrators. I was expecting more explosions.
Interested in where you goy your motor to drive it. I’ve been modifying Harbor Freight vibratory tumblers with replacement Thumler bowls with good results. Only problems with the small tumbler is the bearings went out in the motor after a year of continuous use. Your setup looks good.
Nice work ❤❤
What is the grit recipe for a rebel extreme 17 ? I know you use 1tablespoon of grit for every lb. of rock, but what about stage 2,3,4,5 ? Hoping someone has used this size of barrel and can instruct me on stages and amount. Sure will appreciate it.
New to this hobby. So, are vibratory tumblers dry? I see u adding water and spraying… how do u know how much to add? Should things be dry or wet? Also, in a vibratory tumbler do u always have to have the ceramic media?
@@henriettavanderfloof8104 I recommend you start watching youtube.com/@michiganrocks?feature=shared excellent explanation! Different equipment but the theory is the same.
@@603Rocks I recommend if u want to keep followers just answer the question. Lol, sending me elsewhere… k, bye.
@@henriettavanderfloof8104 I'm not going to recreate the wheel when Rob has already done a phenomenal job doing so. th-cam.com/video/5V33xUTkmRM/w-d-xo.html Thought I was doing a nice thing by sending you his way... k, bye.
@@603Rocks well, if Rob answers simple questions then you were being nice by sending me off to seek the answer elsewhere

Ciao dove trovo lamachen
Thank you for your insight 👍
Did you put borax in it
@@nickiredbonemcl848 Not in the early stages. I'll use borax on stage 3 and 4 in the vibratory.
What springs are you using?

Thanks for sharing, I appreciate your time shared.👍
Thanks for sharing! I'll use your design as a base for my next vibratory tumbler, ordered the same vibrating motor few days ago :) What do you think about this motor - is it powerful enough?
Tons of power. It's adjustable as well with the internal indented plates behind the right and left covers. It does tend to run hot but I have not seen any issues up to this point.
Prince kya hai
How do I get this device? I am from Iraq
32 tbs.??? I only use 10... seriously wasting grit..no media as well.. expect cracks, fractures, and shatter marks

Very nice sir
Cool found !!
Very nice work, thanks !!
Great voice!
❤❤❤happy day
I liked and subbed 😊
Bravo!
Excellent result. Thanks for sharing. How long did each stage take?
2 to 3 weeks in stage 1 using the rebel 17. - 2 days each in my DIY Vibratory for stages 2,3,4.
I just binge-watched a bunch of your videos. About to take a nap. Then bing-watch the rest. That being said, I believe you and your content have all the makings of a TH-cam Rockstar! 😉 😎
How long do they hold up?
I've found they last around 8-10 hours. Then swap out for a new set. I'm still waiting for the new belts...
Helpful advice, thank you👍
It's a good trick until the new belts come in...
Beautiful stones, thanks for sharing!

Wanna hear the most annoying sound in the world?
Very good. Every one look to be of an excellent polish. However, I'd be more interested in seeing how the tumbler was constructed.
Cool! The motion you are getting in the bowl looks great. If I build one I will still use the rotary drum for stage 1 but go to vibratory for the finishing stages to save time and grit.
That's exactly how I'm doing it... I have a batch running in stage 3 now and will post the results when complete.
It's like watching the nature channels. I love your narratives!
NICE VIBE. YOU USE TO MUCH GRIT. ONE TABLESPOON WILL WORK . IT MIGHT TAKE A COUPLE OF HOURS TO GET A SLURRY, BUT IT WILL HAPPEN. SAVE MONEY ON GRIT.
Ya. If you use that much to start with, it's just going to dissolve into slury faster. I add fresh grit every 2-3 days.
I can figure out how to build it from your video but what are you using for a motor and weight ?
Make sure to use Gorilla Glue on the motor mount butt joints... www.amazon.com/dp/B076Q6T4H5?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details&th=1 www.amazon.com/dp/B008RG6IUA?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details www.amazon.com/dp/B007QVPQ96?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details
OMG! How much grit did you add to that? I realize it's a large barrel but I only need about 1 1/2 Tbsp for 4lbs of material in my Lot-O.
10 tbsp of 220 & 5 tbsp's for stages 3&4
Could you fish out the polished rocks and keep on using the same polishing medium indefinitely?
No. It's a one and done process for each stage.
The polish looses its effectiveness after use. Microscopic rock bits contaminates.
You know of any good spots to hound? I'll be visiting my family there again this fall. Theyre outside Manchester but frequent up north. Any help is appreciated
Basically any river or stream. I'm tumbling mostly quartz and feldspar.
How did you like the results?
nice creation
