Treverton Preparatory School and College is a co-ed Independent Private School founded on strong Christian values and a love of the outdoors. Our outdoor education program is interwoven into how we do life on campus. From Grade 000 to 12, content and concepts are explored, understood and grown with the help of our 270 hectare campus. Boarding students and day scholar students share life on campus as one unified student body.
The African Nations Cup and Shield Eventing 2023
The South African leg of the African Nations Cup and Shield Eventing held at Treverton Equestrian Centre, from the 13th to 14th of May 2023. Competitors from Kenya, Namibia, Zimbabwe, eSwatini and South Africa competed in Eventing for their countries.
The African Shield was won by South Africa, with eSwatini in second. The African Cup was won by a South Africa and eSwatini combined team, second was a South African Team.
Tracks ranged from 65cm to 1*.

Drakensberg Grand Traverse Documentary Trailer

Two grade 11 students from Treverton College, accompanied by a teacher, completed the 247km hike along the Drakensberg Escarpment. Starting in the Northern Berg at Sentinel car park and ending at Bushmans Nek. The team set out to complete it in 12 days, but through favourable weather and endurance they completed in 10 days. An epic documentary detailing their journey will be released soon!
Combined Senior Prep and College Interhouse Gala

On the 18th of February 2022 we held our annual Interhouse Gala. However for the first time ever, we had combined our College and Senior Prep. The atmosphere was electric with house pride on display with war cries, drum beats and dance moves on full display. Well done to Harland on the win! The essence of Treverton is experienced not explained. Come join us.

Treverton was founded in 1964 with the vision to offer an education founded on Christianity that would produce a well balance individual. 58 years later we are living in the vision and so much more. Landini Treverton Horse Trials

Treverton Equestrian Centre with the support of Landini KwaZulu-Natal hosted horse trials from the 5th to the 6th of March 2022. Dressage, Show Jumping and Cross Country was on offer. 65cm to 2* incorporating SANESA eventing. The event was a resounding success.
