The motorcycle waited until he could pass on the left. That is the absolute correct way to pass. He could have hung back more but this is by far better than the motorcycle racing past on the right. Too many times motorcycles pass on the right side only to catch the car driver off guard when he moves back into the slow lane so others can pass. No one is trying to harm motorcyclists. They just cannot always keep track of where the bike is when they are riding much faster than the relevant speed of others. Be smart. Be patient. Be safe.
If there was no one behind you, why give way to the car? He can wait 1 second
Howw? What is engine cut? I have a honda cb125r from 2018 and i go 110
@@Remcoprt the engine cut was at 137km/hr indicated, the bike was stock, I no longer own it. It was a 21 model year. Edit: just to add that the main difference from the 21 year revision is engine power, it's more powerful than previous models at the top of A1 with 11kw.
THAT IS SO SCARY! 😱
Que feitiçaria é esta?

Maravilhoso!
If I want to hit neutral, my bike is really consistent shifting into it from 2nd. 1st into neutral almost never happens. :D
@@EfferusZangetsu mine is more consistent in upshifts, but it's funny that more people have the same problem.
Great review! Seen all of them and mine is coming tomorrow. Really heard unique things in this video! Any recommendations for mods? Greetings from Switzerland
@@roanvanstaveren I've got the Evo tech protection kit, I'm still trying to get time to just take apart the bike to install the frame sliders, the big bubble windshield is very nice, also love my stompgrips. Besides that I don't plan to do anything to the engine and pipe while still under warranty, local laws are a bit strange on mods so I will proceed with caution. I'm still on the fence about some nice levers and the rizoma Mirrors. The main thing you can change that would really make a difference is the suspension, the ohlins rear and cartridges for the forks would give you a different bike, I've got no problems with the forks so far but the rear is very limiting. Thank you for watching!
what a stark difference between an honest owner review and “influencer” popular channel ones, which seem to be based on specs and one test ride, so thank you @ridertechpt. btw how tall are you? did you have it fit?
Thank you very much! I'm 5'10 and I can flat foot it, I'm also short on legs I usually get 32l trousers. With full racing boots I will tiptoe both legs or scoot over and flat foot it.
awesome review, I want it as my first bike ever and for sure im going to get it thanks for this video congrats!
It's an awesome bike, take it easy in the beginning and don't turn off the rider aids, it will help you learn!
@@ridertechpt you recommend me this bike as a first bike?
@@Smaz0n3 If you have experience in other bikes or you are taking the A license and you take it very slow it's ok, but this is very expensive to drop and you will drop your first bike. If you have no experience get something different first, this is a better second bike.

I love lefties with free empty right lanes lol
In this case people are wanting to merge to the exit, and people who know how this gets go to the left to just pass this exit, the problem is there is always someone that remembers that it's on the Left and wants to take the exit..

god damn Aprilia, this is the best looking bike I've ever seen in my life
wish they had more color options, like r7 blue or full black
the reason why they don't go with blue is because blue is the "Yamaha color", personally I think this color looks the best but hopefully they will release some new colors in 2025, I hope they release a white/red color for the RS660 similar to the Tuono 660 speed white
Im trying to connect the vest with the app and after scanning says 'System already added.any ideas?
Contact support, maybe someone already added it and didn't release it.
@@ridertechpt oh yes i bought it from a friend of mine.what we have to do now?
You are so right about not having neutral. I have a 2022 RS 660 and neutral is impossible. I cant even find it when I reach down and use my hand. Not a deal breaker tho, I still love the bike
It's an Italian thing, everyone I talked to with an Italian bike said something similar.
Was your rear brake disc also chattering at the 2 minute mark? Mine does that too!
Mine stopped doing that at 3k km mark, until then it was always squeaking.
I tried the 390 version I dropped it the moment I got on its soo tall lol
It's a rite of passage! Especially if you take it off road, an Enduro is even taller!
Hi, I've been reading on the qualock website before considering my purchase, that you should avoid using action cameras with the vibration damper. However, your footage looks pretty great. Quick question, how easy is it to remove the damper on these quadlock systems. And second question have you compared footage with & without damper? All the Best Nate
Since I use a 360 camera I don't plan to remove the dampener. The footage is also great because it's from 360 footage that's cropped and levelled, after reviewing the original footage it has a noticeable wobble. In order to remove the dampener we would need to use a hex tool to remove it and then add it later, so I wouldn't recommend this if you plan to use your phone. For my use case it works great but if you plan to use it only for the camera get the other adapter that gives you the camera mount.
Hey I just published a full 360 video, you can check the vibrations here th-cam.com/video/3sdp6kSn1ek/w-d-xo.html
Do you have the standard exhaust or the akrapovic one that you can order with the bike as an extra?
The bike has the stock exhaust, IMO you don't need to change it to sound better.
Wind direction matters greatly! 54mph into a headwind with full throttle 😂 on the way back an hour latee 78mph which is more than i was expecting from a 125cc
I agree with you, when you have little power everything counts.
I use my 125 to go through mcdonalds drive thru quick n easy. Employee said he never seen a biker going thru before. Did you just stole a KTM haha
It's the Starbucks effect, you can only take an adv in there!
🤣 parabéns. Grande máquina. ✌️
не думал. что мой мотик так кравиво выглядит со стороны
quantos kw os lams rs660 de 35kw produzirão depois de serem desrestritos?
Hey, I don't know in kw but 95hp is what the A2 restricted variant goes to after removing the limiter, it never goes to the same hp as the normal version
Superbe moto. Très bon choix 👍 ride safe.
Thanks a lot for this great and interresting revieuw. I have the Tuono Factory 2022 model. 12.500 Km so far. For some troubles I have the same as yours, as the neutral problem. For the suspension, I things there are different on the Tuono Factory, fully adjustable, and I made the correction from the base model, and happy with it. Fortunately, till know no abnormal comsuption of oil, even in hard driving style, I just check quite often, in case of. To fill the gaz-tank, I can fill till 13 liters, If I continue filling slowly. And depending how I drive , I can make 210-230 km. I notice that If it's not commuting journeys, but an one bigger journey, it can go till 250-270 km, even with hard driving style. It seems that depending of the years, or even the bike, there is different troubles, but defionitively, less troubles or quite none from 2022 model. Thanks a lot for your video.
1 piece is only seen as track use but impractical if walking around
I agree, the thing is, even my 2 piece is not practical for walking, every time I know I will be walking I take my jeans and my casual boots, If I'm taking the two piece I don't walk to anyplace I'm just joyriding. This is my point. For my use I find that the full suit would be better because it's better for track also.
Amazing review, so detailed and really tells us stuff you could only notice after owning it for a long time, great job!! Now I want one Dx
Thanks a lot! If you hurry you may still find some stock from last year, as soon as those are gone the deals will be worse, it's an awesome bike to own, you just need to understand its quirks.
✌️👍
nicely done man, comprehensive facts not found in other owners. Brown pants comment LOL Don't you think the 3rd year models onwards more reliable than before and why is it drinking more oil compared to a R7 ?
I think the bike is pretty much locked down, it will probably take a revision to change anything at this point, and any future recall may be due to some component that manages to sneak by the quality control. So if you want one, get it, it will not get more reliable, and if you are on top of things you will probably enjoy it a lot. The engine consuming oil, I've talked to the mechanics at the dealer, and the consensus is that it's a quirk of the engine, ridden hard it will eat oil, all bikes do it, but this one seems to be a little more extreme, I've notice that engine braking adds to the consumption so I turned mine down.
@@ridertechpt nice so beginners can rely on the brakes then lol, get learned. What your individual mode setup n you should flash your RS
I can't do power mods while on warranty (local warranty laws suck), we also have some pretty dumb laws about mods so I will probably leave it stock and if I want power I will change bikes to something more powerful. In individual mode, I have abs at 2, ATW on, TC at 3(I think it goes to 7 not sure, it's one below dynamic), power max and engine brake in the minimum, since I ride on the road I like to keep the safety net of the atw and abs at 2 to keep always all the wheels on the ground even when I'm being a squid. About the brakes, they are really good and although I don't show speed in my videos you can see me braking hard because every sudden deceleration will activate hazards automatically so you can look at the dash in most of my fun curve videos and see it flashing.

Hey,it can with no problem, the jacket is made to be worn under a normal motorcycle jacket, it provides no abrasion protection, only impact protection.

Image quality is pretty good. Content is amazing and gives a lot of information. The only thing is that nowadays avarage user is quite spoiled with different content.... Here are some things I noticed, it might help you improve: Small issues with sound - there are some interference which changes voice in a bad way. Also, it'd be good to invest more time into video editing. At least remove parts when you are thinking what to say or saying some filler words. Hopefully, these comments will help you create even better content! You are doing an amazing work, continue to do it and improve!
Thank you very much for the feedback, I'm an amateur in editing, and this is really valuable feedback. The sound interference you mention is my rode wireless go clipping, it's something that happens a lot and I've been changing placements to improve this, in this vídeo I used post processing to clean it up. I will work on my edit skills.

Unfortunately yes, unless you keep to the middle of the lane the cars here tend to do the if it fits I go mentality, that for a bike is ok, for a heavy vehicle is dangerous.
How do u feel about supermotos?
Hooligan bikes, loads of fun, very easy to pop a wheelie also. It's something on my bucket list, I actually considered an Hypermotard instead of the RS 660 when I was shopping for the new bike, the Ducati tax is what made me pass on it.
