The imagery in the song is wonderful. The bridge 100 feet above the river and Chocktaw ridge much higher. Sometimes poetic licence is a wonderful thing. 😊

odd sychronocity john michie went into coronation street as barman at the rovers after jack duckworths death.his character and looks critics noted bore a striking resemblance to jack.of course this was before as all soaps do these days he was transformed into a violent murderer! the bullman connection? william tarmey the immortal jack duckworth started his career as a heavy in the xyy man.he was then variously a copper or a villian in all the subsequent strangers series.great episode thanks for posting .

_The Days and Nights of Molly Dodd_ is always on the short list of shows that people want on DVD. Unfortunately they never secured the distribution rights to the music on the show, that’s why it was never released. Blair Brown herself has explained this, saying that for years she was kind of counting on the DVD sales of this show to pad out her retirement! Maybe someday it will get worked out. It’s not only not on DVD, it’s not on any streaming services or syndicated. Only place to watch it is on bootleg videos on TH-cam!

Great series and very enjoyable too but, I've never known a leading man with such rotten teeth as George Bulman!

This show is showing its age, not from the locations or the actors but exclusively from the condition of the main character, Bukman's teeth. A total disgrace and if this were made today, he'd surely have Holywood white and even teeth fitted! :-)

For anyone wondering, the two dads suddenly having goat heads is a reference to _Altered States,_ the first big film Blair Brown was in. _The Bad Seed_ reference was done because a few years earlier in 1985 Brown appeared in a TV movie remake of the film. And for those whining about the politically incorrect stuff, PC is a new invention that needs to be wiped off the face of the Earth..
