Just the fact that you'll be using less bandwidth while playing and it's easier to get it to show... However Harris doesn't get royalties if you do it this way so it's kinda a double edged sword. But he's so cool to allow the downloads knowing that.

I'm working on a version for spotify now playing but it's been broken and slow with tuna. Hoping to either fix it or find something else.

Try an older version of vlc first. See if that does it maybe. I've never seen this problem before.

@@ThisDotGames You need to install the 64 bit version. 32Bit does not work with OBS.

Make sure they're not .wav files as id3 tags are unsupported on them. I use .flac files for id3 tags. you could also use MP3 if the quality is fine. That's the only thing I think could be causing this off the top of my head.

It's not a known issue as far as I can tell. What version of OBS and Tuna are you using?

@@ThisDotGames my obs is 26.1.2 and my tuna is 1.5.3

​@@yourfriendsteve4 Are you using a mac? on the git the only version of 26.1.2 I see is for mac. github.com/obsproject/obs-studio/releases/tag/26.1.2 The download page shows it's for mac as well obsproject.com/download It's possibly a bug on the mac side of things. I don't own one so honestly I'm not much help. You could try rolling back to a previous version and seeing if that fixes the error.

The snip_artwork and snip_artist are placeholder files to be filled in by Tuna when media is playing. They are empty files that are filled with either the artwork or the artist and then read from to be put on the screen. There's way to do it with only two files such as song info and artwork, but it's not as simple and the layout can be more difficult.

Have you managed to get it fixed? Are you sure tuna is outputting the proper names? It can be a bit confusing.

Okay so either I am an idiot or what ever for anyone having some issues it sure does help pressing the start button in the Tuna plug-in

You need to remove the .tmp from the filename and ensure it's pointing to the proper file, there's more help on the discord. I'm crazy busy with my company right now but will respond there faster.

I've actually been trying to figure this out, but currently no it just shows all the time. I'm sure a bit of Javascript could make this happen.

i got it all working except the Now Playing part - nothing comes up when I add it to the source! i'll go thru and see what I missed

does the Song.html have to be in the same folder as the everything else in your finder?

just right-click in windows and create a new text file. Sorry it took a few days to respond... been reinstalling windows and having some issues getting anything working correctly >_<

Yes this part is confusing. The instruction given, txt files are empty? Someone please clarify

@@quarantinegaming8745 the text file should be empty as it's a placeholder that will be filled later on. You need to make sure it's the text file that's selected by the software and is named correctly for the css and html file to find. If you want quicker help be sure to join the discord there's a tech support channel and some files there to download that might help.

Dabs are always irrelevant. But worth it. 😂 I'm working on some more tutorial things for streaming. My computer is having a nervous breakdown though.

My least favorite boss is world 3, the random explosions and circles around the boss are a bit annoying to move around. usually by the time you get to the end boss, you're strong enough to just demolish it. The 3rd boss, not so much. As for enemy types? Probably the little flying guys who spit acid at you, can't remember their names. They constantly kill me by simple fact of me forgetting them or missing them when shooting.

I agree, I noticed some of the premade assets, but this is an indie title, that's what a lot of bigger reviewers seem to forget. Many of these titles are passion projects. As long as their utilizing any purchased assets well why hold it against them? Thanks for watching.
