Practising filming track days of mates as I get my Cefiro ready Went over to Auckland to help @jonas0ne40 get his new track toy ready for evergreen, during the night a wire was stressed by someone tidying up causing the SR20DET to run on 3 cylinders. Good Weekend though, Will get some footage of the JZX110 at Chome in early August

Gave my mate a gopro for the ride along and unfortunatly only got 90s of footage. Unsure if gopro messed up or he bumped the button but nevertheless is a good watch and good on your ears ;)

Hitting a local drift day with a V8 Toyota JZX Cresta and a 6cylinder BMW E36 which had an alignment issue that the driver was chashing all day resulting in going of track JZX was next to take a hit with the steering shaft snapping loosing all steering resulting in going straight for the wall on entry All was well at the end of the day as got to experience heavy limiter abuse in a freshly built...

After building a new 3 inch exhaust and replacing radiator/ fan setup gave it a little skid to test for leaks (none :) ) got 1st, 2nd and couldnt get enough traction to get up the incline, then went for third and missed it due to r32 front seats not fitting right forcing me to have to be all the way back. Oh well hard to complain in an RB20DET Cefiro Edited a drift day video but had a watermark...

Yeah needs to be done for sure, got some dope goodies, is one of my homies cars and thinking about doing a compilation of some of my mates cars so might see it in that. Hopefully going to a trackday with him in August once this lockdown is over so will make a video of the build as defiantly deserves it👍

Hey man, sick sound, noticed you mentioned chipped, do you recommend crossing the 9000rpm , I also run a chipped brain on my rb20det. And I always wonder the reason why the chipped Brains have no limiter
@@jeanclaudedegannes1286 im unsure what you mean by "chipped" but i have an rb20det 180sx with a nistune ecu to run e85 and all the other goodies im running, i dont see why you wouldn't have a limiter but i do know of dodgy tuners who dont run a limiter, they seem to think making 180kw at 9000rpm with stock everything is a good thing 😅

Yeah it was, ended up blowing oil seals probably 2 weeks after this clip
Rods couldn't handle much over 30psi haha
I'd agree if it were a bigger turbo setup capable of better flow but because it's stock it's not as efficient, my reasons being that smaller turbo creates more heat, internals of compressor/ turbine wheel are smaller resulting in less surface area for compression on the air to occur, and still has stock i/C and piping. All of these result in poor air density which is more important than PSI, just my basic understanding which may not be correct but because it had no wastegate and fuel modified so would come on early and hard it overcame peak efficiency early and kept making unusable boost (high psi)
The old 13mm ring spanner of the fuel pump crack it right up haha
Not quite my bro, not my ute but he removed throttle dampener, maxed out fuel pin in diaphram and another trick or two, only thing else he couldve done besides getting a different fuel pin was mess with the govener weights but didn't need more rpm
