I sold the plane 3 years ago and I cant remember the COG. But it can be found on the internet. I think there are even plans of the Multiplex Domino available on those free rc plane plans sites. Happy flying.

Aliexpress, search store Voldreli GK7205v210 + IMX307. But you must be into the hardware hacking hobby, know a bit linux, solder skils otherwise its a bit hard. Better buy EMAX set, MArio or Runcam Wifilink G OPENIPC set. Ready to go and the framerate is much better than these cheap cameras. And they are not expensive anymore. I got his set from a friend , but after a few weeks I bought a Runcam Wifiling G set.

But if I just buy an camera like the openipc thinker can I use it with the nvr

@@pointless2596 The best option (advised by Telegram group of OPENIPC) is a SSC338Q+Sony IMX415 or a little less SSC30KQ + SONY IMX335. You can find them on Aliexpress. Maybe you join Telegram group openipc.org/our-channels. Here you have tons of information about OPENIPC. Really its a must to join. Very helpful people there.

@pointless2596 Not really, check WIKI of the OPENIPC.org , there you find the cameras which are supported.

@@Sandokans the prop has to point upwards about 6 or more degrees otherwise the motor pushes the nose down. just try different angles.

I have lots of gliders that need some time to make it fly. I was thinking about how to motorize this ASW. I decided to put a Gliderdrive motor in the nose, where a nitro engine used to be. So it was a bit of a puzzle. But this ASW17 GroB (Big version) is ready for its remaiden flight. The "Verbindungsstiften" fit nicely. I was also searching for the COG and I found it is 6cm behind the leading edge. But I cant find where the info came from. Now I am waiting for nice weather. It is really bad flying weather here. Did you see the video of making a new nose cone for this ASW17? Then you can see the nose that was cut off by someone. I will make a short video how it looks now. Did you already fly the ASW? BTW I found another ASW17 gross fuselage, but no wings. This fuselage is looking great. Bye!

@@redbearrc6706 Ja top, woon inmiddels na wat omzwervingen weer 16 jaar in Almere. Ben het modelzwever weer aan het oppakken. Net mijn zwever E-Flite Conscendo Evolution 1.5m in elkaar gezet. Nu nog even tijd vinden voor mijn eerste vlucht hier in de polder. Leuk om naar je filmpjes op TH-cam te kijken.

Now I have 2 Alpha's like this one, 3 Ur Alpha's (version before this one) and 1 Super Alpha 3.60 meter span. I use a motorpylon so I dont have to cut the nose. But a motor in the nose is just fine. How did you mount the motor? I see you are dutch, me too.

@@redbearrc6706 Ik heb de neus afgesneden bij 40mm. Daarna een triplex schot erin gelijmd door middel van een prachtige truk met een draadstang. De motor zit voor het schot.

I just used the standard cables that came with the flightcontroller A3 and LB2. Maybe you can find the pinlayout on the DJI website.

It was a PET plastic dr Pepper bottle

A 2L bottle? My canopy seems like it needs about 2 more inched.

@@andyc12 the bottle I use is 1.5 liter. We do not have bigger PET bottles with this nice transparant smooth surface. When the plastic is too short I use 2 bottles and glue them together in a way its acceptable. Over the glue part I put some tape. If you want to make a perfect canopy then you must use other techniques like vacuumforming, bigger lexan plastic sheets, making vacuumbox etc.

I have added the info to the bottom: You just find a button or microswith that swithches to "ON" when you press it. The switch has an IN and OUT pin. Just connect one side of the switch to PIN D10 on the Arduino and the other pin of the switch to the common GND (ground). That's all.

HobbyKing also sells this Opensource head tracker for about 34$, ready to use. Its the same but will save you a lot of work. Its up to you. Search for :Quanum 3 Axis No Drift Head Tracker I see now its in backorder like lots of things at HK ;-)

Same, this has been on my to do list for a few years.

Hi Allen, this was just a prototype. I designed another base construction where you dont need a metal plate. This setup will work. You only have to find out the right angle for your glider/motor setup. Maybe a bit up mixing is needed when the motor is on. I know a motor in the nose is much better, but I like these kind of designs. Have a nice weekend!
