Nice voice but I'd have loved to hear more sense of legato and I didn't get any feeling for, and commitment to, the text. However the upward portanento in the middle of the song was the most pleasing part of his reading of the score, equisite in its effect.

la interpretación es buena mas sin embargo el cortar las dos primeras frases siendo que debe tener un control de aire en la partitura son dos compaces de las primeras frases "CARO MIO BEN CREDI MI ALMEN" Como para tener que agarrar aire se escucha cortado ahora el calderon que hace en tanto rigor al ultimo el calderon va en la primer nota no en la segunda. ojo no esta apegada a la partitura.

mayitojl: I do understand the point you're making and it's a valid one. Ideally, Caro mio ben should be sung with a long legato line. So, Macias is not perfect. But his sensitivity and musicality are at such a high level, it is a pleasure (for me) to hear him sing.

Wonderful! Correct style and not overdramatized as many singers do. Lovely stage presence and high level of artistry. Doesn't hurt that he's also very handsome.
