I think his line about not wanting to go home, where he is "just an ordinary human being" is one of the saddest lines and I love how the artist uses a confident machismo delivery and acting really, its both on its face confident and cool but also deeply sad and melancholy especially the ending. Countries and veterans of vietnam and iraq have lots of health problems and lasting effects for generations, its a sad reality and shows how war is an evil on a generational level
