Spent two wonderful vacations in the Cotswolds 30 years ago. They were the best trips of my life! What a wonderful area with charming people. I heartily suggest it to those who haven't been.

My friend lived in Bibury for a while, got totally sick of having to keep her curtains shut and doors locked, because people would stare through the windows, try to open the door to go in, one family de added she let them in. She ended up shouting " this is my home, not a tacky Disney exhibit " 😅
Can’t believe people would even try to go in! 😩 Maybe some didn’t know that there are people staying in these beautiful cottages.
