Waited for it to dry…it dried, then it rained an hour before lol. Such is life, had to do what I had to do. Shindaiwa T270, speedfeed 450 with square anleolife 0.130 string made it a breeze!

A sign of the times, post-ash-fall…everything is dirty even the grass lol. Well, this clean up required it’s own special cleanup of equipment, but that’s all part of it. Just a one man trimming army

Love your trimmer! In Los Angeles we have a brand called TMC. Came out around 1960 and has a lot of characteristics of the older shindaiwas even to this day. I got one a couple years back and love using it

TMC is actually related to Kawasaki, not Shindaiwa

You should float the head over the grass not bumping an bumping over. The finished job were much more clean.

@@DaneTheGreat46 Just like husqvarna, redmax, jonsred, and poulan pro are made and owned by the same company. The only brand that has they're own manufacturer is Stihl.
The T-270 was made when Shindaiwa was it’s own company and made in Japan, much better quality back then. Later on Echo bought Shindaiwa and since then all the Shindaiwa products is just an Echo with a Shindaiwa sticker/decal on it.
