If scholes was Spanish everyone in Spain would appreciate his greatness. But instead of respecting the man who was running the Manchester United midfield that was dominating for 20years they instead were too busy trying to make Stevie g and lamps work as the two in midfield and sticking scholes on the bench or on the left wing.
