Yo, that looks absolutely terrifying! Unless I'm unresponsive there is no way I'd be getting on that thing! I've seen the video of the old lady spinning at a few hundred rpms over the mountains, and to be honest I'd rather just 💀

Fennel Creek Trail Head is a scenic dog-friendly trail in Bonney Lake, WA. At the trailhead visitors have the choice to take a paved flat path to the left, or veer right over a wooden bridge which leads into a wooded area beyond. Taking the bridge will guide you and Fido on a moderate hike and the more challenging of the two routes.
An amazing place!
It really is!

Great job USCG! I was actually doctor involved in this rescue, I was the one in tiny basket before we took patient up. It was dangerous, excited but it is all about good outcomes! Still proud of this medevac!!
This is the most excitement these people on the cruise had to see everyone’s all of a sudden a coast guard helicopter rescue expert
Yep, and they didn't have to pay extra for it. 🙂
Chopper in stealth mode as passengers are having lunch. Very polite and considerate by the classy Coast Guard officers!
Hats off to the ship designers who sound proofed the ship, can't even hear the rotors or turbine
Look at all the sheep filming becuase they see others doing it. Why? 99% of them will never watch it or share it, it's bizarre behaviour. Guess you expect it from the calibre of people who go on a cruise, especially a norweigian cruise. Simple minded folk who need everything planned for them, greedy folk who go to stuff their fat faces for 2 weeks, ignorant folk without culture and who enjoy tourist traps. Shame the thing didn't do a titanic.
I love hearing the entusiasm of the crowd.
They did this on the Joy Somewhere around Oct 7 2019 i think 2 times
USCG BAD ASS!!!!
jay hawk
They do such a good job so professional on all levels
Great filming job, thanks for sharing.
Thanks for recording us another wire it will come neighborhood park
What is it, that makes me feel uncomfortable when all the onlookers start to applause once the patient is succesfully hoisted into the helicopter?? I mean, come on, why not applause this terrific job? They are not doing any harm with applauding, but still,......it makes me feel uncomfortable and I`d like to know why???
It's human instinct. No one wants to jynx the operation. You hold your breath and cross your fingers for the job to go well, then celebrate once the VIP is safe in the cabin. Also they're watching the show - the act is presumed concluded once the patient is in the helicopter.
It’s a cruise people aren’t at their jobs. They really don’t have a lot else to do when they aren’t eating or whatever they are doing and this is an Alaska cruise. It looks like since I’ve been on one which means that you’re not exactly going to be sunning on the deck because it might be cold or too cold for that at least. So it’s kind of what people do when they don’t really have a lot to do and maybe have nervous energy. And many of them this is probably the closest they’ve ever been to a helicopter to see one hovering like that is the first time they’ve ever experienced that. As for the hoping and hollering, this is a question that I tend to get asked by British people. And since I know British people like the back of my hand, and I have some cousins that are British, I like to remind them that it’s not a good opportunity to use that to try to feel culturally superior to Americans, which is the root of a lot of this questioning. So just know if you are a British person asking this I am right on your tail and I know what you’re up to.
great footage thanks!
They all record but none of them can qualify for the work of AST
The crazy part is the ship is still moving forward so the helicopter was flying sideways the entire time
Helicopter can not hover in one spot too long. So it helps if the ship is moving slowly, into the wind.
I always wondered why the ship’s would keep moving, thanks Robert, now I won’t say under my breath, “stop the ship will ya “😆. Good to know the reason, their all about safety I know that, so it all makes sense.
@@robertcullison8782Of course a helicopter can hover in one place, the pilot uses the pedals to control the pitch and yaw to keep it steady. The ship is moving because lateral movement keeps the ship steadier, if it were to stop it would be at the mercy of the waves and current as it would have no use of its stabilization fins.
@@Gecko....helicopter can hover in place, but will use less fuel if there is wind or if the boat is moving. If they use less fuel they can fly longer. And a boat that is not moving has no control over his direction. So a steady movement is easier for everyone than a stop.
@@niconico3907 The first part makes zero sense, the second part you repeated what I said...
