the fugg is this guy making carpet instalation videos for? DO NOT GLUE CARPET DOWN. u glue the under pad and then stretch carpet into place over tac rod (grip rod). this carpet wouldn't last 2 weeks

Thanks for the video upload 👍 Fitted the carpet in my utility using this method and all it cost me was a can of spray glue and some Stanley blades. Not sure what kind of carpet it was - quite thick pile with a fibrous square crossed pattern on the back, it didn’t seem to like being bent or folded and was difficult to mark for cutting. No matter as I reclaimed the section carpet after someone had thrown it out, turned out to be the perfect size for my utility and I didn’t want to spend any money getting it fitted. Wife is happy 😊 that makes me happy.

Nice little small room with a paper thin felt back carpet, you wouldnt be able to fit a 9mx 5m room with a walk in wardrobe using that method with an administer carpet in one on match my friend, plus when using spray adhesive, open the window and wear a mask its carsiengenic (causes cancer)

You should try a wall trimmer it's a lot faster and you won't catch the skirting.
