I don't know your experience in the game so I'm trying to be helpful, not demeaning. If you don't have all the weapon upgrades and a few overclocks, then that is a common issue. Damage upgrades and ammo storage upgrades make your bullets more efficient for their nitra cost, allowing you to get through a wave without running out of ammo and helping your resupply pods last longer. Other than that, aiming at weak points, target prioritization, and proper kiting for the hazard level are all skills you will need to learn to comfortably take on haz 4+. What class you're running, what primary objective you're playing, and whether you are playing in a group or solo will all matter for anything more specific than that.

@@pixel-genius man that's the worst part I have 2 star scout, Overclocks on both my primary and secondary. Maybe it'll come with time (a lot of people say the plasma rifle is underwhelming but I have an overclock that makes it deal massive damage even more than the rifle and has 700 reserve ammo twice what the standard rifle holds) and I still can't seem to do 3 or 4 or 5 solo

@@onawhimadventures7672 Oh, solo play as scout is a rough time. Scout is a lower damage class that makes up for the lack of damage with their speed. When I was running solo scout I needed to ignore part of the wave, focusing on taking out the ranged opponents and leaving a melee swarm which I could kite while running to opposite ends of the cave. Then I could just sprint to complete the objectives when playing things like point extraction. Scout is a very effective support to a team but if you play scout solo, clearing enemies will always be a major challenge. I still cannot play scout solo on drill dozer missions. Essentially, it was like playing every mission with the haunted cave hazard because scouts don't have the damage to handle it. I can run haz 5 solo with any class but scout. I know some people who can run haz 5 solo on scout just because they have mastered speed and maximize their damage per nitra but that class is significantly harder to run solo than any other class in the game. A good scout does become a lot more important to the team dynamic at high hazard levels though so if you do get good enough to play at that level, you will be an amazing asset to any team you run EDD or haz 4+ with.

@@pixel-genius yea whenever I run 3-4-5 in teams I end up becoming the medic because of the grappling hook but what class do you recommend for solo 4-5 haz?

@@onawhimadventures7672 I would recommend driller. Every class can end up with a nearly unwinnable situation based on cave generation but due to the driller's terraforming abilities, it happens the least to them. Bosco also compliments the driller's weaknesses well. However that recommendation is only slightly above either gunner or engineer so pick whatever is more fun. RNG will mess you up at some point regardless of what you pick. Scout is the only class that really struggles to play solo.
