i dont have a center hole in my mount. Am I SOL?
Video title: "fiber", text on device: "fibre" 😏
What if the whole entire wall is stone and there isn't any drywall? That's what I have in my house.
What a useless video
Why you don’t just anchor the mount nto the pillar ?
Can it go 180 to the oher side to
Do not use hiltys on marble.
Oh thank God for posting this! What size tv is that? How is it holding up?
This tv is 55” you can mount upto 70” tv on the swivel mount clmtva2044 and upto 85” on a condomounts tilt pillar tv mount. Clmtvt1064
@@LeslievilleGeeks Thank you!!
It seems you did not mount to the stud? Just using the heavy duty drywall anchors?
Good question. The studs didn’t align to the mounting holes in the tv mount . So we used toggle bolts.many of them.
In data centers they’d want the bundle to be cleaner. No diving cables
Ok
This is a good video, except there was no commentary during the process. I did not understand what was going on. The fact that you focused on behind the TV was a plus for you.
Garbage…..
Terima kasih... mantap videonya
It's like nine times easier if you put the bolts in the play bar and then the nuts on the other side
Thank you, I just wanted a simple video explaining this❤
The provided cable isn't rated for being behind the wall. You need a conduit
Hlo sir im from india i need a job i have 3 year experience of optical fiber.
This is by far the best video I’ve seen! So helpful, thank you
NA dude never seen a concrete wall in his whole life. Living in homes made of sticks and paper sheets in the country with most intense hurricanes and tornados.
Old metalsmith trick. Start the hole with about a 3/16in drill bit, it will punch through the thin stud metal much more quickly. Then go after it with the big bit. Go slow when drilling metal. People always want to just power it through. All that does is produce heat, and you will burn up your bit. If the bit changes color it is ruined. You have heated the temper out of the bit and made it too soft to cut through the metal. Might still be ok on wood or plastic, but never will cut metal again. If going through thicker metal, always start with about a 1/8in bit, use a bit of oil or WD40. Go slow. Move up to a 3/16in bit. More oil. Slow. Move up about 3 more sizes. Same thing. Until you get to the size hole you want. Takes a little longer but you won’t ruin your bits or your hands or run your drill batteries down too fast. If the oil is smoking, you are going too fast. And use a proper drill, not an impact wrench.
Great suggestion. Starting with smaller bits will help.
If you could a drillbit with a pilot point - it is titanium coated with a pilot tip which is 1/8 tip to start the hole. Comes with the Condomounts metal stud mounting kit , MSK9010 and MSK8001.
Very useful tip thank you very much
You are welcome!
that looks like a good stud finder. I got the Bosch one and it's paying up. Sometimes two completely different reading and only show centre of the "stud". Is it best to drill above to see if you are on the stud
CH hanson stud finders are simple and works great always.
The tilt down in the example image is not advisable when the height is correct.
Try not to fiddle to much with it around the hole. The tip is very sensitive. Avoid touching it yourself or touching it with the side of the hole. If you scratch it or the grease will deposit on it from your fingers then the signal laser will be deviated resulting in bad signals.
Couldn't believe I found this video. We had the TV mounted for us and I wasn't familiar with the mounting mechanism. Thank you so much for this!
LOve it. Its great to hear from you.
I have one tv in living room fixed to steel studs. But in the bedroom opposite of the living room, im putting in a tv, only one steel stud will be common to both sets. Will that stud be able to handle it?
Yes. Try to avoid swivel mount, Just the one with tilt or fixed function is. going to be safer.
@LeslievilleGeeks after I mounted it my wife didn't think it was centered to the room. So I plastered over the big holes that I made. Found the center of the room and lo and behold, wood studs instead of metal. So I'm happy, the big set in the front and the set in the bedroom on totally different studs.
Sounds like Thomas the tech that was suspended for being unsafe on this install
How is this a concrete wall? Looks like cardboard to me
Is Fiber available in Laval?
You need to check with Bell
Beautiful! Wondering what the cost is
I was patiently waiting for pros or cons about the Bell Wifi Pods........................... but I didn't hear Bell mentioned. Hmmmmmm.
Bell pods talk wirelessly thus there is signal losses, lagging and jitter. A wired connection is always better.
Question is this procedure put in all the rooms, as I have a tv in my bedroom too, or just the living room?
This is the modem Just to one main room. Other rooms will use wifi. If you want a wired Ethernet connection you will need to hire wiring contractors/ home theatre guys, tv mounting guys to lay cat6 to specific location through your house from the modem/switch
So helpful! Worked a treat. Thank you!
Great 👍🏻
Sloppy asl
We have tested both and have two other videos to explain that. This video is about the access point installed. i want to see the other two videos
I have my hole started but can't seem to penetrate through the marble wall with my tile bit, what should I do?
Do you pass through the entire slab? Have you drill through all the calcium layer? Behind the slab will be drywall, did you pass the drywall, after the drywall layer could be a stud that is blocking your path?
@@LeslievilleGeeks Thanks for the response, the guidance at Home Depot has sent me with a tile and glass bit, but I was able to order a diamond bit off Amazon for the correct size which did the job and got me through. The tile and glass bit would have worked if the stud was not directly behind where I was drilling, but that is what I was going for to keep the tv secure. Now I think I may have hit the stud only partially through because I cannot tighten my bottom bolt as tight as I would like. Any recommendation for fixing that? The mount I am using has only 2 wall mounted screws. The top one is a hole, and the bottom one is a horizontal slit. The bottom screw can't get secure enough to stop the mount from shifting based on which direction the tv is facing.
Warning!!! Never remove the plastic in the Wall behind plaster if it is a outerwall. The plastic has the purpose of beeing a diffusion barrier preventing the moister from the indoor climate going to the colder wall. You will get mold in the insulation and the Wall if you make a tiny hole in the diffusion barrier.
Shite 💩
Nope. No idea whats going on here
Which part is confusing you?
Kalau sering” d lpas pasang aman aj kh
For that I should get wired cameras 😂😂😂
Could this work for a swivel mount on a 65” tv
Mount on 2 metal studs, tv below 60lbs. Make sure no one swings on it.
Do you add a flame to the end to prevent fraying?
Ok, those look like some seriously good scissors!
Seems like kitchen scissors
Thanks
U guys make it in white? Where i never saw it in white..
