It’s been like 23 years since 9/11 one of the deadliest terrorist attack in our countries history I was just a little kid at the time when that happened. It still haunts me ever since it happened. I would never forget that day God bless America, the safest country in the entire world and the best country in the world. I’m glad I’m growing up in the best country ever.

Hey, thank you for being respectful and not talking pictures or video of the inner exhibit. I visited last month and the museum was packed, so of course there were disrespectful people taking pictures even though the museum staff get verbal confirmation that you understand not to take pictures. Perhaps my favorite part of the outer museum exhibits is just outside the exit of the inner exhibit. Its a brick from bin laden's compound, in a nondescript case off on its own with a tiny placard. Very fitting end to the ehxibit

After all of these years I still can’t go in there.

I was 29 and a newlywed, and cried for days, relating to the stories of people killed that were engaged, newly married or starting their families. I still can't go to the memorial. Hardly feels like 23 years. RIP to the deceased and my heart goes out to the families and children that lost thier loved one so tragically. For a little while we came together as a country, but sadly the killing just escalated around the world.😢

I was in the area, and had plans to go to the towers that day. I had to work that morning, so purely by chance I wasn’t in the buildings. I remember being terrified and not knowing what would happen next. I also remember the sick feeling I had as I watched the towers come down, knowing there was no way everyone made it out. I’ve been back a few times, and I made it a point to go to the museum and memorial. I’ve also been to the flight 93 memorial. If you get the chance, definitely go and pay your respects.

You don’t get a true sense of the pain from seeing it on tv. But when i went to the memorial, i felt it. Seeing the buildings next to it outside and thinking something like that fell. Strange feeling.

Still to this day when this happened i was in middle school in class i was in computer cass on tell i saw the words breaking news i thought it was high speed Chase but i saw the words twin towers hit by airplane everyone eyes where glued to the tv on tell the bell rang it everyone went to the gym to watch it
