This is the Poole I grew up with 😮. What a mistake thinking Penhall's departure will make it easier 😊

Everyone wanted to (and still wants to) ride for Cradley including me when I had a go at speedway but unfortunately that dream never came true
I had a go at Cradley. I wasn't ready too be honest..
This should be mandatory watching for all those Poole supporters today that are either too young, or too blinkered, to realise how utter gash they used to be......particularly Middleditch! Thanks for posting (from a Hackney Hawks [now Lakeside]) supporter.
Barry Allen We were worse than mediocre. Remember we had Michael Lee after Simmo left and that went bad too. Overall, I enjoyed speedway a lot then even though I was early teens. Was gutted when Penhall retired, the Yanks were brill, mind you Gundersen and Neilsen were not too bad to say the least.
