press c again when your in the fall damage animation (you can hear me press it at 0:40) you will then visual be at regular height and speed as if you where standing but will have the hitbox as if you where crouching, is also how i walked through the crawlhole thing to the sewer exit without crouching, as for entering the spider cave through the wall im not sure if its a placebo but i would always look downward a little bit which made it more consistent for me than looking forward, sorry for all the yapping lol
