Quoted by Mary McCoy: At the age of 3, I knew I wanted to sing. When neighbors came to visit my mom and dad, I would get my little rocking chair and put it in the middle of the room and yodel throughout their visit. When I was 6 and 7 years old, mom and dad belonged to the Odd Fellows and Rebeccah Lodge and I would sing for them. Age age 11, I won my first talent contest. At 12, KMCO came on th...

The latest offering from Stephanie Urbina Jones & The Honky Tonk Mariachi, Manuel’s Destiny, goes far beyond the limits of the typical album: it’s a saga, a joyride, an impassioned reclamation of her cultural heritage, and-above all-a riveting tribute to the power of a dream to travel over 100 years and three generations. From her great-grandfather crossing the border, to an artist living and t...

Where’s the horn section?
Awesome.
I was very fortunate to have seen CPR in 1998 at Cuesta College in San Luis Obispo. They released a double-CD from that show. It was definitely one of the best show I've ever seen. The opening act, Anastasia and John, was also exceptional.
This is so boring.
Came here from Ringo’s All Star Band. Great stories from a great artist !
😅 I've been saying that for a while great music❤
AI…
What a find!
24.49 / 27.02 ... ❤❤❤
Mary McCoy ROCKS!!!
Just amazing, including that long classical piece at the end.
❤❤❤
Great group, great sound...
Super Gipsy Jazz Trio 🔥
HELLO, NICE VID, PLEASE TELL ME WHAT HAPPEN TO DENNIS YOST ? WHERE IS HE FROM ? PLEASE REPLY , JOHN FROM NORTH CAROLINA ,.,.,
I’m a retired electrician who can’t twist wirenuts anymore ,drop screws , and struggle to start a nut even when looking at it. I’m glad someone saved their fingers for this great contribution to society. Thanks!
Not too shabby
Bob's a great guy. I've seen him play here in Scotland several times. We've communicated a fair bit over the years and I'd count him as a friend.
Pity, a bad sound recording.
Спасибо! Сходу слышу нечто оригинальное прекрасное! Спасибо! Автор мелодии -- исполнитель?
His voice is liquid gold. Timeless.
I saw them in Arvada Colorado a couple months ago, just amazing and unforgettable!!
Some serious talent there! ❤❤❤
CHOP CITY !!!!!!!
Yes, of course he owes a lot to Messrs. Atkins & Reed, but IMHO he has well and truly eclipsed them. Some of his intricate work is up there with the top classical and jazz players. He has a very friendly, affable style of presentation as well. Nashville's gain is England's loss!
It’s fun indeed that everyone, even the most incredible guitar player anywhere around ,looks like an amateur besides the incredibly gifted Rory Hoffman. What he shows, is a sheer miracle, nothing less.
I was sitting in front of my TV and couldn´t help but clapping my hands for this extraordinary performance of you guys - truly cool- brillant- harmonic ... I´m speechless
The top level.
Superbe !
Saw them in San Diego and it was the best musical display I’ve ever witnessed. They are a great bunch of guys, as well.
I loved The Grass Roots, every song was so good. Their sound together was perfect, sadly it had to end, it went too darn fast!♥️🌹🌻🌸🌼
Was Dennis the keyboardist ?
Hi Tom
❤😊spokie
Love this sexy griup
Nice interview Rick, and thank you Dennis...
Saw them in Denver last weekend and one of the best performances I've ever seen on guitar. Thanks for sharing this video!!!
Glad you liked it. They are truly some of the very best guitarists in the business.
I nominate Richard Smith for CGP!
Who needs a band with Richard on Guitar
Where were you when I needed you, my favorite, their first song I remember. love them all.
NO PEVAR RECOGNITIONS OF CPR??
Smoke a blunt and watch his right hand. You're welcome.
Denny always looked so cool with the Grass Roots…..glad he’s doing well
Great interview. I love Jim and have a ton of respect for him and his career. I got the chance to see Jim with his current band and it was great. Thank you to Jim and company for coming to Fort Wayne, In.
There was a magic and a special formula with bands from that time that probably could not happen today. These artists ,so many of them ,were in a class all their own. The era was very special. I am so glad that music of my childhood included the Grass Roots. Fantastic interview. Thank you Dennis...
So much respect for all you have achieved, Ron.
Please tell me: who is the drummer with CPR? I guess I have seen him in the band of David Gilmore . . .
The drummer was Stevie DiStanislao.
@@talkandrockradio Thank You! So I was right, he played with D. Gilmore!!!
Too much time is spent changing the tuning of the guitar between songs. Would be nice if Richard or you could enlighten us on what he is doing all this time. That is, what is the final tuning, for example E-A-D-G--B- E (Standard tuning), on each song. Thank for posting this lovely video though.
Of course, Jim Morrison was an incredible genius - the correct definition of genius is "talent". Unfortunately, he consumed every drug to his bitter, early end. He was lost and I don't think he wanted it that way like a gull blown inland on a stormy day Lost in round one spitting out pieces of his teeth lost in a Paris graveyard carrying his own wreath And I have seen that movie and it wasn't like that he was mad and lonely and blind as a bat To the bridge and the falling tree Too deaf to hear his own song You see How does anyone get to there We may never know How they got that far Or what made them go But he had flown from his homeland You could see him there A gull circling In the high desert air And somehow I Have to learn from this 'Cause I can hear him cry And feel the hiss Of the wind in his feathers and the sand on his feet As he dies in the desert On that Paris street And somehow I Have to learn from this 'Cause I can hear him cry And feel the hiss
Cool!
Yeah. I started piano at age 7. Of course, I begged for piano lessons for a entire year before that...
