The BLM doesn't know how to manage the wild horses efficiently and doesn't even know how to do an accurate count of the wild horses. They need to be shut down permanently. They are a corrupt agency. I have called the legislatures regarding the cruel and inhumane helicopter roundups of the wild horses. The helicopter roundups need to be stopped permanently. The BLM and the helicopter contractors don't i care about the welfare and safety of the wild horses. All they care about is the taxpayers dollars. Cruel and Horrible People!!!!!

The wild horses are constantly being chased by cruel and inhumane helicopter roundups which causes the wild horses to get severe injuries, being separated from their families, being forced from their homes on the public lands and end up losing their freedom. Such a sad case for the wild horses 😢

On this weekend Labor Day 2023 the Bureau of Land misManagement is removing ALL wild horses from West Douglas HA in northern Colorado. If the world could see the barbarism these helicopter roundups inflict upon the horses there would be outrage. USA tax dollars will now go to maintaining the incarceration of even more hundreds of mustangs in brutal conditions. These tax dollars are astronomical in contrast to range management costs. After the horses go, in come the cattle and extraction industries. Grand Junction CO is a BLM field office. Think about that. A billboard or two at the I-70 interchange - or at other interstates - would alert travelers to local helicopter roundups. Mass media coverage is needed as much as it was covering the fire hoses in Alabama Mississippi et al during Civil Rights era, 1960s. I am so disgusted with the BLM. And its not just what they do to horses, although this is absolutely heartbreaking. In Calico Basin, Nevada, they are fencing off public lands , locking out out hikers and climbers, just to benefit a few super wealthy landowners and super elite cyclists. Its got nothing to do with serving the public, or protecting the environment, its all about $$$, and the personal connections of local leaders. It's appalling

This infuriates me, too! It’s like watching the poor mare from the video at Conger, UT horse roundup that Wild Horse Education posted. A stallion, foal, and this mare were pressured into the nets. The push from behind caused this mare to race to the front. Not seeing what was ahead, slammed into the gates and broke her neck. I’m crying over the agony that these poor wild horses must endure so that greed can collect $$ for each, regardless of health, fatigue, and age. Contact your state congressman so we can end these inhumane roundups, enforce safe birth control methods, and legally stop the transport to slaughter.

These people are so cruel! Ehat is wrong with some people? Why are You so damn greedy? You have no heart! I really wish this could be done to You then You would feel what they are feeling? Are these Preservations owned privately or by the government?

While I question their methods we have to maintain their numbers bc unchecked population growth is a serious problem and it will end in habitat destruction which might mean the end of all wild horses not to mention other wildlife in the area. I would love to hear alternatives to this method but all I ever hear is crying and moaning without giving alternatives that would keep from happening what I listed above.

I just watched a video that came up called “Horses in Crisis”! It made me so mad 😡 how the ranchers (cattle “horders”) disrespect the wild and blaming us “emotional” people! When they build fences and interfere with their (mustangs) range it does get bad! I was shocked several years ago learning of the thousands in pens!! Just fenced in with nothing to do or barely move for Pete’s sake! It’s hard to understand how that is good!! I’m not fighting the good fight, but I’ve donated and spread the word where I can! Written letters too for legislation, but fear the cattle lobby wins!

Watching this again for the umpteenth time, such a beautiful stallion, Cloud was. He was born on my birthday date all those years ago, though I am a lot older than he could ever have been.
