In the U.K. if you put spray foam into your house no one will be able to take out a mortgage on it so if you want to sell to move house no buyer can get a mortgage until it has all been professionally removed at great cost. DO NOT DO IT!!!

If you'd filled the cavity 50% you would have ended up with 100% fill set and almost no waste.

maybe instead of using Foam Cleaner use brake Cleaner if you have it - since i lost straw for the cleaner i use in 3 mm syringe w/o needle portion

The fire foam is highly flammable. The chemical they use to allow it spray defeats the fire tard from working. Fyi

I plan on using this to make a mold that my jack can fit into so that I can put it in my trunk and it won't bounce around so much. I would also like it to be black, but that isn't a deal breaker. Lastly, how many cans do you think I'll need? Thank you in advance!

Considering the foam was being put into a 6in by 6in square, not one of them was used correctly. Therefore i dont understand what the fuck you're trying to accomplish with this test.

PSA: Do NOT get that shit on your hands. Don't be like the 22y/o version of me & promptly ignore the directions. Just glove up. Hell, DOUBLE glove up. Thank me later. This is not the product to not RTFM on... ... I tried everything from gasoline to acetone, mineral spirits to TSP to break this product's bastard grip on my skin. Turns out, physical removal via random orbital sander using 220-grit was the solution - and a helluva lesson.

Is that from an open cell or closed cell ? Is it a 1/2 pound foam or 2pound or is it more than 2pound ? What kind of catalyst does it use ?

This is misleading. 'window and door foam' isn't elastic, it just expands less so that it doesn't put too much pressure and warp the framing around windows and doors. Pond / landscaping foam, as well as pest block foam, are the same as the regular foam, just a different color (which is also more UV resistant because of the black dye). Fireblock foam *might* have more fire retardant added, but the main difference is the orange color. All the foams have fire retardant added because it's extremely flammable (and even the Fireblock foam is still flammable, it will just self-extinguish after a few seconds once all other flame sources are removed). I'm not sure if the big gap filler is a different formulation, or just a different nozzle.

great stuff is annoying if you're using it at any level above DIY homeowner. the cans are not reliable and do not last. Loctite brand foam is better and can be purchased at the same places. they come with a cap (to re-use the can later) and have a lock to prevent accidental discharge when installing the dispenser. they also have a pro version which has a longer reusable tip to reach tight corners. I don't work for them I just prefer their product to great stuff and other foams.
