I mean you need way richer Rod! Especially when you use a 40mm Carb on a less cc engine. SC recomends <36mm for 125cc. A 40mm SC is good for 500cc... The richest Rod is the AV1 and AQ1 Series Rods, but they are to lean for WOT Racing with a 250cc engine. If you want to run a 40mm carb with 135cc you need a custom rod. But you dont get support from SC! SC works fine for US Trail riding in the Mountains becaus they never need WOT for more than 20 Seconds... Most SC Videos I have seen on youtube where slow riding on trails. I never saw WOT racing with long straigts. But it is possible with SC! If you run a SC without custom Rods or WOT modifikation (Powerjet), yout will overheat and destroy your engine.

Die Leistung nimmt nur dadurch zu, weil der Motor selbst mit den fettesten Rods bei Vollgas noch zu mager läuft! Konnte das Problem nur lösen, in dem ich mir eigene Custom Rods gefertigt habe! Habe mich auf Custom Rods spezialisiert und kann bei Bedarf weiterhelfen.

Yout dont get more Power from a Smartcarb, but it helps reducing the jetting work when your dealing with changing conditions.

Hey, the Powerjet does not influence peak power on full throttle. We experimented with the external Powerjet, because we noticed detos shortly before peak power. The cylinder compression is up to 12.6:1 and the ignition is rather on the hotter side, in order to achieve good power results. We used the rod AQ03 65 clicks and a PJ reamed to 1,0-1,2mm. We tested with different rods but could not find a rod to solve the detos. We were more successful with the PJ. We still work on it.

@@polinizei In fact,I also use the powerjet before on my TM28,that powerjet can be tunning by screw,it make tuning middle to end throttle more easily. When I change carb to SC2 36mm,I also meet the A/F problem, change many rod but usually can't not make whole RPM work great,especially 9000~14000 rpm,A/F usually little bit too lean,so this is why I ask the question about do powerjet help smartcarb or not here. Thank for your answer :). I saw the powerjet which Sir used is look like main jet, maybe Sir can try the powerjet kit which can tunning by screw, I think that will be more easily to tunning at middle to end throttle.
