    Good vlog. It reminds me at night in Bangkok the narrow alleyway brightly lighted with portable neon, you can see row upon row of stalls lining the street markets. I tried to make a vlog about it in th-cam.com/video/b-vNn75iyDs/w-d-xo.html Hope you also like it.

    I know you said this was the bare necessities but hot damn, compared to some of the cities I lived in the US, Vancouver's prices are nothing. For example, Hawaii is no joke, you seriously need a good amount of money to live there decently. I guess I know where I'm moving to next lol. Nice video!

    • @Droxal
      @Droxal ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah, we complain about Vancouver but so many American cities are super expensive. That said, you are more likely to find higher wages in the states, so it can balance out.

    If you have a non-bullshit degree, you're better off going to the USA to work. The pay is better and the cost of living is much lower (except in a few places like New York and San Francisco).

    Hi, Your video was very informative.. keep it up! Can you compare the weather conditions between Vancouver, Burnaby and Surrey? Thanks

    • @markdaniel8034
      @markdaniel8034 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Sorry for the late reply. Surrey, Burnaby and Vancouver are all really close together (Vancouver and Burnaby are bordering each other and Surrey is only 40~ km away from Vancouver) so the weather is very similar throughout the day. Only major differences would be when the wind blows clouds over to one area and not the other.

    Interesting.. do you live on your own. As a young millennial living on my own for the past 3 years, I feel this is a VERY optimistic video. I was making more than the average Canadian salary and you have to sacrifice a lot FOR SURE to be able to save up for a home (no eating out, no driving, and no trips). Let’s be real... a 1 bedroom in Vancouver is no longer 1800 on average. You’re lucky if you find a 600 square foot home for 2 grand.

    • @cloudcloud8486

      pandemic has lowered prices maybe time to move. Also his food cost makes no sense. 1 night out with a 20$ meal, 2 7$ drinks, tax and tip. Thats a $40 bill for one restaurant a month. How would one exactly have a $50 eating out bill if they even somewhat enjoy what the city has to offer in terms of food. Also my average cheap grocery bill would be like 70-80$ a week. $320 a month. So if you have a cheap grocery bill and eat out 4x in a month your at around $500 . Thats a pretty typical way for people to live. So yeah this guys video is way off.
