I will share with you what I just posted to another youtuber that I believe will help you and your subscriber when making the decision to study public health. Public health professionals are considered undergraduates to MPH graduate. The public health practitioner is a Doctor of Public Health/philosophy. Using this thought of process, a public health degree is broad, meaning you can work in various areas of public health that do not require a specialized license such as nursing or pharmacy. With a masters degree, you can work as a health educator, epidemiologist, public health director, etc. As a Doctor of Public Health, you are the expert and by pursuing this degree, it is believed you are pursuing a career as a professor, principal researcher, or government head, such as secretary of health and human services. In the public health field, just think of it as the nursing tier system CNA/LVN/RN. A Community health Worker/AssocPH/BachPH serves as technicians or assistants. The MPH is more of a LVN and can oversee a department or services being offered to the local community, such as the county health and human services under the guidance of a DrPH or a senior MPH with extensive training and/or experience. The DrPH/PhD is more of an RN and is the highest degree in public health. These practitioners can construct the public health system or make changes to an existing system to make it more cost and labor efficient. Doctors of Public Health can also study the system and add to the body of knowledge.

My first thoughts for majors was biology as well, then speech language pathology, and finally public health.
