By the time that he might have explained this I was so confused I couldn't even start to comprehend anything. I wish he would've just done what our homework covers like you did. I've been searching for hours trying to find videos or pictures and draw graphs. I even asked after class for help and he didn't tell me these things. So, thank you so much!!! Now I actually know what I'm doing instead of having to draw twenty different things and redoing them tomorrow when I find out I'm doing it wrong. I could've used this hours ago so I wouldn't have to be up until midnight doing not even 20 questions.

My apologies. ON #20, I incorrectly stated that you could find the x value of the max using the quadratic formula. That is incorrect. You would use x = -b/2a to find the x-value of the vertex, then plug that value into the expression to find y.

A few oopsies to mention:). On #12, it is supposed ot be 2 to the third power not 3 squared, but the answer is correct:). On #19, the value is 4.5 not 4.9, and last but not least, on #20 I forgot to calculate the zeroes ((1,0) and (2.38,0). We all have rouhg days though!

why wouldnt number 4 be negativeXsquared +2X-4 and you didnt change the signs for all of the numbers when changing it to horizontal adding i thought what happens to one side of the equation must happen to the other??????
