Bukit Bintang is area full of tourist, foreigners, immigrants. Most locals spot where locals hang out in KL are Kampung Baru, SS2 Petaling Jaya, Damansara, Bangsar etc
I will be back to see the locals hangout!
@TravelWithMuhamed Yes, and the locals hangout during the evening n night 👌
Malaysia is like America many migrant workers from all over Asia working in Malaysia. Nightlife in Malaysia is different from Thailand because Malaysia is a Muslim country....are you Muslim or not...
No I am not Muslim.
This is a really good video
Appreciate that! Come out and party!
That worst them new york city 😂😂
It was bad, too many folks for me!
Too many buskers at one place make it too loud and make the place already narrow hardly to move......unless they perform more Malaysian traditions. They shouldn.'t allow people selling in the pavement, DBKL should spread out Bukit Bintang as it too crowded at one place. They should learn from other big cities to have different spots not just one spot for tourists, make the pedestrian pavement wider, pedestrian friendly and fix those traffic lights which most of time not working...and clean up the street from beggars and homeless.
Nope. Some like it like me… look out for Malaysia’s best Bob Sentuhan, he sings and plays better than professional singers
@@wolgerone or two buskers like before are ok, but now there are wayyyy too many buskers sing loud dang dut, rock not far from each other....it is a bit tooo much. lol, can cause safety issue too due to narrow pavement, unlike other big cities.. see a bigger picture.
It was very lively, I did not expect all of the live music out there!
All the bar is for non muslim here....if muslim were caught here ......fined or jail...😂
Not true
I am not Muslim but that is something I've never heard. Its new to me!
ok
Absolutely not true
Great video, be blessed my young bro in Christ.
Thank you, you as well!
Bro.. some of the folks on jalan alor, airport etc. don't enjoy being recorded on camera for various reasons, work, visa etc
I didn't record the lady I was referring to. I only recorded myself.
☕👍
kuala dhaka MALONDESH 🇧🇩👎🇧🇩👎🇧🇩🇧🇩 very boring cunttttry
Its different for everyone, I don't shop at malls but there is other things people will enjoy.
When in doubt, EAT!
That's true!
It's quite bizarre for someone named Muhammad but not a Muslim... 😂😂😂😂 Anyway, welcome to Malaysia bro...
😂😂😂😂 It sure is, thanks!
Could be that the lady didn't understand you. Anyway she doesn't know that you are an American. You could be from Africa and some African men are womaniser. Could be she was scared of you.
She spoke English well and helped a lot of others after I came back.
@@TravelWithMuhamed ok. Could be she was distracted when you asked her and her mind wasn't focused on your questions. Anyway, Allah knows best. We Malaysians always like to help other people out. I hope you are a Muslim as only Muslims like the name Muhamed. Its always best to think on the positive side. This is what Islam teaches us. Hope you have a good stay here in Malaysia. We are a truly diverse society. We tolerate all religions as this is what the Prophet SAW taught us. This is why in Malaysia, all major religious holidays are observed with a public holiday.
To be honest not many non Muslims have Muhamed name which is the Prophet and Mesengger of Islam. However based in history in the past many Black Americans ancestors were Muslims hence some of their names still retain as their forefather names even they are no longer Muslims. Anyway, Malaysia is melting pot with three major races in Malaysia; Malays which are native to the land 60%, Chinese 20%, Indian 6% and other races included Aborigines (Orang Asli) , native tribes in Borneo (Sabah & Sarawak), Peranakan (Chinese who assimilated Malay cultures), Mamak (Indian Muslims), Eurasians (Portuguese descent), Siamese etc of 33 millions population. Chinese and Indians brought by colonial British to work in tin and gold mining, and rubber estates. There are also approx 5 millions foreign workers and expats. Most you see in Bukit Bintang area are foreign workers majority from Bangladesh, Indonesia, Pakistan, India, Myanmar, Nepal, Vietnam, Thai, Philippines, Arabs, etc. The masseurs are ok, however, sex workers are considered illegal in Malaysia, however, still many of them offer sex discreetly to tourists and most of them are foreigners included from China, Vietnam, Thai, Myanmar, Filipino, Central Asia and surprisingly also from Africa. Malaysia particularly big cities like Kuala Lumpur, Georgetown Penang, Langkawi, Kota Kinabalu Sabah have quite large numbers of expats from all over the world. Malaysia also one of favourite destinations for retirement, international education and medical tourism. Alot of foreign students mostly from China, Middle East and Africa also other countries studying at Malaysian colleges and universities. Malaysia has 65% Muslims whereby 60% Malays and 5% are Chinese, Indian and other races, followed by Buddhism, Christian and Hinduism. Almost every religious festivals are public holidays in Malaysia, and malls being decorated for every festivals, and now is Christmas followed by Chinese New Year, Eid for Muslims (Hari Raya), Easter then Deepavali/Diwali for Indians. Even though it is a majority Muslim country, it quite liberal as you can see there are pubs serving alcohol and many restaurants serving porks (mostly Chinese restaurants/eateries), even convenience stores like 7-Eleven or KK Marts also selling alcohols however it restricted to non Muslims and for above 21 years old. There are the biggest Hinduism statue and shrine outside of India in KL at Batu Caves, and the biggest Buddhist temple in South East Asia in Penang, and most churches are preserved. If you compare to Thailand, Malaysia is very diverse and most tourists find it difficult to differentiate locals and foreigners. However after a while you can see the differences as Malaysians regardless of their races; Malays, Chinese, Indians and others are friendly, warmth regardless their skin colour as long as you respect local cultures and could speak English fluently or some English. Locals also will respect your privacy and will not stare at you, and never ask for selfies unlike foreigners. Many tourists who dont know this will generalise Malaysia as unfriendly, rude, unsafe, etc. Welcome to Malaysia!
Thank you for the great info. I'm enjoying life traveling the world, tomorrow I will be infused with a whole new environment of religion and culture. I'm just sharing my experience in everyone's beautiful land. Thank you!
true. the train counter lady could've stepped up n helped. though I'd say , as in most large cities, front desk public-facing staff don't tend to engage for queries. there's a specific information counter for that. she could've directed you to it. Apologies from all of us and hope ut didn't spoil your trip too much
She helped others that walked up to her. I've been to 45 countries and have interacted with all walks of life. It's what it is. I had a great trip, thank you!
Nice observation about the people and the city. If nature is your thing, come explore our 130 million years old rainforests and spectacular islands on the east coast as well as on the Borneo side. Sorry for your unpleasant encounters, I hope you have had a nice time throughout the rest of your stay in KL.
Thank you, it was good. This is my 45th country visited, I will definitely be back. It was a last minute trip, next time I will do more planning. I don't let a few encounters cloud my views.
Get a wife, kids, and a family back home. Leave these Dominican girls along. They have different culture, different language, different values. Go back home and make videos of your hometown.
These are friends of a family I know, thank you. I make videos everywhere. Much love
You sound racist. That's not welcomed here. Thanks for watching
Ten cuidao muchacha con esas jovencitas y con ese hombre que tu no conoces. No dañe la raza cibaeña por dos o tres pesos.

Welcome to kuala lumpur Malaysia
Thank you!
I can tell you're a devout Muslim watching you turn away from the bar, lounge and nightclub line. But be careful eating in non-halal restaurants. Malaysia is inhabited by a multi-racial society, so you should choose a restaurant that follows your religious beliefs. There are many more halal restaurants by Muslim Chinese, Muslim Indians and Malay restaurants that are definitely halal. If you are in doubt, you can just ask if the restaurant's food is halal or not, they will not be angry. But if you feel like a traveler in an emergency, that's okay.
He clarified he's not a Muslim
I am not Muslim. Thank you.
I love all religions, all culture.
👍
👍
👍👍
👍👍👍
Thank you for watching!
Enjoyed watching your video. Freestyle!
Yes sir, thank you!
welcome to Malaysia :)
Thank you! There's a lot to see, and good food!
The massage areas aren't thrilled being on camera bro.😅
This was my first time on them streets. Once I saw them, I gave them respect, I didn't know!
Your name is Muslim's name but not sure you practice Islam about food & drinks? Malaysian Muslim never seat / eat any restaurant got menu pork / alcohol and without Halal Certificate. It became Subhaha.
I am not Muslim. Yes my name is Muslim. I respect everyone, and I expect the same in return.
@TravelWithMuhamed Ok fine. To get you be respected in Muslim's country like Malaysia, pls always remind your audience that you are not Muslim. Muslims people just do care if you are not aware about restaurant Halal / Haram in Malaysia. Since you are not muslim, then I understood.
I thought ure a muslim, generally, for info, malaysian local muslim dont eat at the non muslim restaurant (which has not certified halal), pork is a big NO to the muslim.
I am not Muslim. Thank you
@TravelWithMuhamed noted and welcome 👍👌
What do you think about Malaysia.....is it like 3rd world country.....don't like to blame people...please ask if you are lost...if you are a muslim go to muslim store to eat....
I am not Muslim. I love everyone.

Welcome to Malaysia 🇲🇾 brother Muhamed. If you visit here again recommend you go to Kampung Baru, more than 100 years old village in the center of KL, where the local Malay Muslims hang out. Also stay a bit longer visit places outside KL: Genting Highlands, Cameron highland, tropical islands etc
Thank you, there's a lot to see, I'm looking forward to learning about Malaysian culture and trying a lot of good food!
@TravelWithMuhamed Yes, try nasi lemak, roti canai etc and also we have another part of Malaysia that is Borneo (Sabah n Sarawak) 🇲🇾
Oh ok, I will look it up, thank you!
Most of the people you see in Bukit Bintang are not local.
Yes I saw a lot of tourist.
Foreign workers too.
Yes after the turned the camera off, I talked to a few people.
How is it you have a Muslim name but eat pork ? LOL . If the vice police got a hold of you, you'd have some splainin to do. They probably wont do anything to foreigners but if you're Muslim they technically have the power to adjudicate since it its in the constitution and send you to rehab for Muslims.
lol because I have a Muslim name. I can't have my name if I'm not Muslim? No I am not Muslim.
@@TravelWithMuhamed it just doesnt happen in Malaysia, since Muslims in Malaysia have special advantages and disadvantages governed by civil and religious courts. For Malaysians you cant be non Muslim with a Muslim name. Muslims are highly regulated here. I know you're not Malaysian .
I've been to 45 countries, I respect and love everyone. I travel the world to learn about their land, how they live, the culture. This is new information to me. Thanks.
@@TravelWithMuhamed Muslims in malaysia respects everyone. It isn't an issue of love and respect its the legality and matters of Law. Its a sensitive topic not commonly discussed. Non Muslims here get to enjoy secular life but not so for Muslims. Since it is a tolerant Muslim country they let non Muslim do almost anything they want as long as it doesn't infringe on Muslim faith and beliefs. Theres no ACLU here I'm just concerned for you that's all and i hope you don't accidentally confuse the locals or the religious authorities (yes we have religious policing just for Muslims). Maybe you have a nickname Moe or a middle name so you wont get into trouble.
I understand. I don't travel the world for politics. I don't disrespect anyones country knowingly. My name is my name, I love my name. I'm blessed with the name I was given.
Welcome to Malaysia 🇲🇾 hopefully you have a good times here. And please do take care of yourself especially walking on the pedestrians path be super vigilant around your surrounding for unexpected motorcycle that will appear out of nowhere. Also about the mystical hidden hole that once not there are now there (drainage cover concrete/steel) not forgetting about the uneven or Slippery grounds (coz of the tile) and the confused pedestrian path that will leads you to a dead end (no where) Most of Malaysia restaurant have a sink to wash your hand.. Especially the local Malay restaurant.. Remember only wash your hand on that tho.. 😅😅

What about women? Sometimes men are safe in a place, but women are not safe just walking about. Have your had the opportunity to ask this question of foreign women traveling in DR and what they're experience of safety is? Would love to see that
Thank you for the post, I know a few solo women travelers and they do reach out to me about different countries. Women are safe in Dominican Republic from my experience and time being there. I was an officer for ten years, I'm speaking from personal experience from traveling and a professional view of safety. I've met several single female foreigners who moved to DR.
4:35 is Thai eggplant Most soup in Thailand are to be eaten with rice or noodles to help alleviate the spiciness. May I also ask what kind of camera are you using to record your videos?
Thanks for the info. In Philippines they had small eggplants like that. Now I remember! This dish was too spicy for me lol I'm using the DJI Pocket 3. I think it's the best camera for vlogging.
Thanks for tuning in! I've been out here for three months! This wasn't planned, I love it out here! I have a lot of video still to post.
