While I appreciate your video I think it is harsh to say you had a "bad experience" over the phone. Have you ever owned a small business? Have you ever worked in a restaurant? It's a massive amount of work. The owners have to run their business up to 7 days a week and most restaurants close within two years at a loss. I know this sounds harsh, but it is not their job to meet, greet, and babysit every single customer that walks through the door. Thousands of people saw the GR episodes too, but don't just presume the family will drop their family and/or business comittments, and lives to meet every guest. That's what their staff are for. Respectfully (from someone who has spent years working in the restaurant industry) I think your expectations are a bit unrealistic. For feedback it would be helpful to explain in more detail why you did not enjoy a dish. What could be improved? This might however be difficult if you are not an experienced cook like your Mother. An example is when you discussed the koftas you ate. In the GR episode I'm fairly certain they were made with vegetables and also a tomato sauce. I appreciated that you mentioned the spice level. I have a high spice tolerance and find that most Indian restaurants underheat their dishes for me to accomodate Western palates. I have a question about garlic naan. I absolutely love garlic, but I always order butter naan. I just find garlic naan competes with the flavours of the entrees (my real focus). One more thing I agree with you that the menu seems dauntingly large.

One positive about this combination is that it doesn’t spoil easily, which means that if you pack one for lunch on-the-go, you don’t have to worry about it spoiling. Which is a welcome bonus on a hot and humid day. My favorite version has two layers of no-stir natural creamy peanut butter holding a layer of raw and unfiltered wildflower honey on one slice of wide-pan 100% whole wheat bread, banana slices on top of the second layer of peanut butter, and Concord grape jelly or seedless blackberry jam on another slice of wide-pan 100% whole wheat bread. Put the jelly-covered bread - jelly side down - over the peanut butter, honey and banana-covered bread, gently press the two slices together, and you have the absolute best homemade sandwich you will ever put to your lips and sink your teeth into. After a long workout on my Rollerblade Macroblade 110 3WD inline skates, this is my go-to recovery meal, and it really hits the spot. Mmm, so good.
