Finding hope in the valley
เข้าร่วมเมื่อ 18 เม.ย. 2020
Hope in the valley is a place to come and be supported by me, a mom facing motherhood with a chronic illness. I will share my day to day struggles as a chronically ill mother and wife, what it looks like from day to day as my health fluctuates, and how I handle the ups and downs of being a chronically ill mother and wife. I will help you to keep fighting another day when all hope is gone. Come with me, as I share my story, my happy times, my bad days, and even my tears of utter despair. Let me show you how you can find your hope in the darkest of valleys. Even if you are not a chronically ill mom, but chronically ill, join us as we walk through this valley together. I pray my channel will be an encouragement to all. These videos will be raw unedited truth as I take you with me on this journey of chronic illness. God bless!

I'm so sorry. Praying!
Hi there was hoping Can you pray for my mother Cathy, she and we just found out she has colon cancer in Oklahoma. I need to travel to there from California by myself . It’s very hard to deal with this . Thank you so much ❤
@@SarahHolmes-yr4mc oh I am so sorry to hear this news. My mother is also named Kathy. You have my word I will be praying. Let's pray. Dear Heavenly Father we come before you now with questions of why. Why is this happening. Why my mother. I pray Lord that you comfort this family in their time of need. Stretch out your hand of mercy upon them and give them peace. We pray over the doctors Lord give them guidance and wisdom. Lord the Bible says you know every hair on our head. And you knew us even before we were placed in our mother's womb. Lord God show the doctors what they need to see in Cathy's body. Show them what you see. May no stone go unturned. We pray for a miracle that no one can explain except to say God did this may you be glorified in all of this. It is in Jesus name who's shed blood was poured out for our sins so we may have eternal life one day that we pray. Amen. God be with you and send his comforter the Holy Spirit to go with you as you travel back to mom.
@@SarahHolmes-yr4mc hello any updates on your mom?

@@terririggins4962 aww thank you so much for such kind words. God bless
I'm so sorry, Melissa. Yes, the fireworks were indeed bothersome, but I used the Abide app and did breathing...and God got me through. I have a wonderful PT who is working with me to attempt to calm down my nervous system...very difficult with at least 10 different infections driving it all.
@@marciamehlman7817 I am so sorry you go through that. I hope it gets better for you soon.
We feel for you and understand- my husband is in a permanent crash bedridden
Praying God releases him. I know it looks impossible right now but God can do it. It's so hard to be this sick. My heart goes out to your husband and family.
Long story short. Motor bike accident in 1990 caused me severe leaky gut syndrome & multiple food intolerances . Also had EBV, CMV HERP 1, CFS & FM prior. I started seeing a good immunologist around 2005. He done blood tests. I had low testosterone, low T4, low T3, low cortisol & low salt. Was prescribed natural testosterone & progesterone & natural thyroid treatment Armour Thyroid. Also prescribed natural cortisol treatment. The cortisol really stopped my FM. Was put on salt drink 1.5 teaspoons sea salt & 1.5 teaspoons bicarb soda in 2 litres of distilled or filtered rain water & drink as much as I like. Also magnesium. I've always been a heavy sweater. Went on an elimination diet to find all my food intolerances. Had plenty from my bike accident & plenty more I didn't know. Although I wasn't really intolerant to wheat it gave me aching joints & severe fatigue. All this really helped. Started boosting my vitamins & supplements which also helped. Keto & anti viral diet helped. See The Exploding Autoimmune Epidemic - Dr. Tent - It's Not Autoimmune, you have Viruses th-cam.com/video/r8FCJ_VPyns/w-d-xo.html Even though I was feeling much better I was still unknowingly suffering from orthostatic hypotension & was very tired & weak most of the time & exhausted easily. I found out about Florin F / Florinef / Fludrocortisone / Fludrocortisone acetate. Started taking it & was like I was 21 yo again. Before could barely walk far, after could walk kilometres. Because it kept the salts in my body & kept my BP up. It was like a miracle. But if I went off my diet the CFS & FM would get bad. Been researching for decades now & can't stress enough about taking vitamins & supps & diet, & hormones if necessary, to keep well. Hope this info can help you & others. God bless & stay away from shots.
Hope y’all feel better
Thank you. How are you guys holding up?

You are so loved honey and I’m honored to call you my close friend. I’ve been having an awful time as well.
Sorry everyone I just noticed the microphone was on the bed. So it's kind of scratchy at times.
Perhaps turn up your volume so we can hear you better. I’ve got my volume up all the way up and I can hardly hear you love.
That’s gastroparesis which is the stomach not able digest and is paralyzed. That’s my main problem

Thank you so much for explaining all your things going with you. It must’ve been very hard to tell us. God bless you. Is there a support group online or at home to talk to others about your diseases? I go to groups on FB.
