0:54 bcome super good artist!
I love your sketching style it's so clean and expressive
I like how chill you are and how you don't sweat the small stuff. It's soothing, like Bob Ross.
I really enjoyed this. "Time to put what I have learned into practice..." -epic music to build suspense- "It didn't really fit the face. Oh well." I, myself, have been struggling with faces and expressions too, and I more often than not just leave them blank because I do not wanna ruin the sketch. To me, that is the hardest part about being an artist; when you wanna learn something new or something you are struggling with, you have to allow yourself to suck again for a bit, and it can be demotivating. But if you stick with it, it will pay off in a few weeks or months or years.
This was genuinely so fun watching, love ur art btw:DD
Thank you so much! I'm glad you enjoyed it
The beauty of being patient with the process makes art what it is
Hello
2:58 that's a problem I see with many manhwa artists where they draw the face and they're like "Oh I'm just gonna add some oval shape, it's gonna fit somehow" and it looks weird, like it's forced.
do you use an ai voice over? some words seem weirdly robotic (im just curious no offense)
Yes I'm using a voice changer for privacy reasons. I don't actually sound like a cute anime girl, nor am I either of those things :D
you practiced more in this than i ever did in my entire drawing life i guess.
Hope you will draw some more soon then :D
@@Xasha infact i did! Thank you for inspiring me!
The sketch is so good!! For how long have you been drawing??
Thank you! I've been drawing for over 10 years now
I loved the fly :)) my cat slapped my desktop
The video is dope doe 👌
Glad you both enjoyed it :D
I love your art🎉
Cool
Nice to see the improvement
i was just practicing face expressions, and it didn't turn out as well as i hoped. but this video has really motivated me, i think i will try again tomorrow!
I hope you got to improve in them by now, even if just a bit!
I think practicing the effect cheeks have on eyes is really good advice! I need to work on this.
Hope it helps you dacks!
its much (mentally) easier to follow a tutorial when the attitude is 'i'm a student too, here's what worked for me'
same here, i can have long time no drawing, next ill need warm up, however, still i feel i have getting better
This tip about adding teeth to open mouths is great, thank you!
Congratulations on 10 years of drawing! Condensing a decade of work into just 9 minutes is impressive and clearly took a lot of effort. Well done!
Thank you very much susa!

You are so underrated!! And this video is really helpful! I love your artstyle and it is so cool to see the process! :D
Thank you so much gem! Glad you enjoyed it!
I try so hard to draw but I’m just bad at traditional and digital 😢
Drawing takes a long time to learn, keep it up and I'm sure you will improve over time, especially if you're looking up important fundamentals and practice that! I wish you the best with it allana
@@Xasha AHHH TYSM
omg i love ur arttttt edit: oh my god you actually caption your videos THANK YOU SO MUCH
You're welcome spencer! And I'm happy to hear you like my art :D

I stopped watching you some time ago, but damm you have improved. 10 years huh wow that's a long journey. I still believe that your perspective is super dope
I also haven't really uploaded many videos in the meantime anyway, don't worry about it sky! and thank you :D
XASHA SENSEIIIIIIIIII
Me no sensei pir, only nise is
Most realistic self study i ever see on youtube.
once I found myself not being able to draw on drawing tablet for no reason then when I tried drawing on paper I got better results , idk why
that's interesting! glad trying out something different worked. And I hope you can get the same results with a drawing tablet again!
Perhaps more concentrated focus? At least, that’s what I guess happens to me when I switch from traditional to digital. 😅
I share this problem too. I think its because my muscle memory is missing that feedback from traditional drawing. First from how I draw on paper are usually on a lower table than the one I used for digital drawing, having my elbows and shoulders freed to a relaxed position helps a lot. Second is that the softness of paper scratched pencil helps the muscles to draw details. Then texture of the paper often masks my mistakes compared to when I scan and clean said drawing on digital. Portability and environment where I carry my traditional supplies also helps me gets in the mood to draw with intense focus. Since the problem encompassing ergonomic and body posture, I think I need to change my table for digital drawing... but everyone is different on addressing their problems, hopefully you got yours cleared soon!
I am the same way- I always do my drawing and sketching itself via paper and then scan. I grew up traditionally with art so digital just throws me off. Painting is not so bad but sketching is so hard for me
Pen or pencil on paper is much more consistent and reliable. What I find most frustrating in digital medium is the amount of choices you have in pen variety. I think it could be solved by also finding a good pen and sticking with it, but there is more to it so…
Cropped doesn't do this justice
To be fair even the full version (as in the actual illustration) is not framed well, looking back on it. And I'm still struggling with framing subjects to this day
@@Xasha but it looks so good
Great video!
Thanky you eo, glad you liked it! :D
I draw a smiley face then add the angry eyebrows works fine for me :)
don't see what's wrong with that >:)
The artist was trying to draw a facial expression for a character who has no facial expression... it's weird.
Hey 56! I'm unfortunately not sure what you mean, which character is supposed to not have an expression? if it's easier for you you can try saying it in russian instead. But I'm sorry if you didn't enjoy the video, hope you find something more to your liking!
@@Xasha Friren, this heroine has had zero emotions on her face over the course of a million dull episodes. Или сколько там эпизодов этого уныния было?)
I see! I guess that's somewhat true except for the occasional smug or :3 expression
@@Xasha <3
Several dull episodes is crazy
Is this text to speech or autotune on the voice
Hey sam! It's actually neither, it's a voice changer that I'm using for privacy reasons, hope that clarifies things for you!
Holy moly your sketches are very good, Keep it up!! (Also, first comment heheha) Edit: Sorry, i lied saying it was good, its marvelous
Glad you like the sketches paulo! :D
It was really motivating to see someone else overcome the same struggles I’m having right now. Thank you so much for this!
Glad to hear you could relate to it frame! Keep going and you can do it! I'm still struggling with it a bit rn, but I keep trying to add some more expressive features every now and then :D
Hi, what tool do you use to adjust and correct parts of your sketch?
The transformation tool in CSP, if you mean rotating and stuff! Also I use vector lines, so I can move the lines around or erase them freely
Rip her back 😭💔
super cool channel :3
Glad you're enjoying it lin!
interesting to know what goes through an artist's mind doing sketches, thanks for the wonderful sketches and video <3
Oi it minimak! Thank you very much, glad to hear you liked it :D
