Thank you! Yes, you can limit the framerate. I usually do too, but for those videos I want to show what the hardware is capable of. So if you have a 60 Hz TV, the easiest option to limit framerate is to turn on V-Sync. Another option is to set a custom framerate limit at 60 fps. For both options, go to your desktop, right click, "Show more options", "NVIDIA Control Panel". Here you can enable V-Sync or set a custom max. frame rate, either globally or per game. Idle yes , no way runs 35c while gaming. I have 4070 gets 70c while gaming.

It's not 35c while gaming, it's 34c while gaming, I'm not lying, it's true I use MSI Afterburner to monitor the GPU temp and that's what it says, maybe it's a bad version of MSI Afterburner, IDK. My idle temp is 27c. My video card is an MSI 4090 Gaming Trio X.@@Phantomhdilluminate

check to see if your gpu is in the pcie 3 or 4 slot. i put mine in a pcie 2 slot and was wondering the same thing. i put it in a pcie 3 slot and was getting high frames and high settings

I have 4070 Ti and an AMD Ryzon 9 7x CPU, the FPS is above 80 when I use the FSR2(with nVidia frame generation) in the visual settings instead of DLSS . With DLSS is only 47~58 .

That depends on your other system specs as well, but I‘d say a 750W is more than enough. Especially if you are undervolting the GPU.

Yeah the CPU limits this game. Has a bit of stutter as well.

I‘m playing DLSS Balanced now, but no frame generation. That way I get between 30 and 40 fps. This works well for me in that game until now.

It is a good CPU / GPU combination for both. Generally I find these questions hard to answer, because one part of your system will always be the limiting factor. With 4k max settings, the GPU will always be the "bottleneck" here. As you go down with resolution and details, the load will switch to CPU, as your framerate will go up. But that isn't necessarily a bad thing. That's just how things work. So yes, I would recommend this combo for both resolutions as long as you are not targeting very high framerates above 100 fps. For that you'd need a faster CPU.

No, great combo for 4k gaming. If you play at lower resolutions you‘d probably need a faster CPU to get everything from your GPU.

Thanks, appreciate it. I had the AMD reference design XTX. It had heat issues, a third party custom model will be fine though. Overall the XTX is a lot faster than the 4070 Ti in most games. The 4070 Ti will be a bit faster in Raytracing though. Also it is more quiet, more energy efficient and also more stable.

FSR is off here. I have 16 GB RAM in my system. 1% lows aren’t great as you can see.

Undervolting is optional of course, it will perform the same without. It just runs more quiet undervolted.

Well the XTX will be a lot faster in non-ray traced games and if you game in 4k your CPU will make full use of that. If you get the XTX, get a custom model (no heat issues) and be aware that there may be driver issues especially in not so popular games. The 4070 Ti is overall slower, but you get good ray-tracing performance and DLSS3 which actually workds quite well to my surprise. Also it will run stable all the time and have very low heat / power consumption, especially undervolted.
