I’m in year 10 and I’m already planning to study astrophysics at Oxford, for GCSEs I’m doing triple science, French, music, art, and I’m in top set maths in the top 15 of my class (my average this year has been 95.5% in maths). For now my maths GCSE grade is predicted to be 8 or 9 and physics also, but I don’t know how much GCSE matters so I might just try to plan my a-levels better. I still am not too sure what to do for a-levels but I think I’ll be doing physics and further maths, what’s your advice at this stage?

How should a student manage his application if his undergrad course doesn't have enough mathematical modules. I am currently pursuing BS in Business Administration and there was only one module of calculus in which i scored 65%. My overall % is 78, and i will improve it upto 86% by the end of my 4 yr undergrad course. So is there any possibility that my GMAT score can compensate for advanced calculus. I have already secured an internship in HSBC bank and soon will be going for that.

I’m doing maths, physics, econ and mandarin for a level but I’m really worried if I would be at a disadvantage for not taking FM a level even though my school does offer it (doing 5 a levels would’ve been too much since I didn’t want to drop mandarin) for unis such as LSE, oxbridge, ucl etc? And I want to study econ at uni.

Hello. So i know french only upto a2 and planning to sit for b1 exam by the next year. I am from BD a small country and heavily under represented(No one from my country went to hec for MIM), will graduate from one of the renonwed public university with a cgpa around 3.7 to 3.8 and hoping to get a straight 700 in gmat focus (My current mock test average is 680). The issue is I lack professional work experience even relevant internship as my post MIM plan is Investment banking. Internships of such finance roles is criminally limited (maybe 5-10 front office finance roles per year are posted online) so chances are slim. Maybe I will do a internship in a retail bank or corp finance. I know financial modeling which i learnt out of my aspiration of working in a finance profile and build several m&a models and stock pitches by myself. since college days I was active in Writing finance related content and worked as a finance tutor to high school students. Do I even stand a chance.
