It’s such a weird franchise. These two actors have never been in anything together, and the last time her character was on the show his character looked completely freaking different. This isn’t HER Doctor. Heck if you’re a younger fan you might never have even seen her before. But we absolutely buy this reunion thanks to their reactions and performance and the nature of the show’s story. It’s kind of magical.
