So yeah... don't do this, kids.
Dude a diverter blowoff spacer isnt even that much
😢
How can I do this on Audi a4 b8? Thanks bro
DON'T DO IT ITS THE Engine Cooling System Temperature Sensor Connector YOUR GONNA FUCK YOUR ENGINE
Spend the money to go big turbo with a mafless tune with a bov, or reconnect the diverter valve, just my 2 cents
The diverter valve on my 1.3 TCE sounds great. It is a good psssshhhh
Jeez guys, ever heard of a quick pull? Its really hard on the tires, don't do it. High beams heat the lenses and turn them yellow. Dont use them.
Is this good or bad lesson?
Soz lads but all my boosted cars dose/flutter. Each turbo has over 200000km on them over the past 15 years, 0 need a rebuild. I love how back in the days people said flutter was the turbo spinning backwards.
How to wear out your turbo in 5 seconds 😂
Meanwhile 10+ years of doing it and never had an issue.
do you loose power??
Stfu sound😂
How to k!ll your turbo quickly 😂
What did u do with the little vaccuum line on the stock intake? It’s for the intake runners, did it not give u a code with that cone?
Revving instantly is crazy
😂😂😂
I like how people think that a 1/4” thick tool steel shaft that spins at 100,000 rpm in 1600F flames, whose turbine tips literally break the sound barrier, think that a little compressor surge is going to somehow snap it.
Definitely shortens the lifespan of the turbo.
Nice try, we all see the TFSI engine, which already is turbocharged, and probably already makes that noise
That's is blowing back at the turbo 😅😅😅 u gonna be bbbbbbbb broke😅
😂😂😂😂😂 love the way you said stututututu
The sweet, sweet sound of turbo surcharge 🤤🤣

"How to ruin your car for free"...
no warmup
No one in this comment section knows what’s going on fr fr 😂
Ikr. Some guy said it decreases power 🤦♂️
Like the dv’s job is to literally divert the air back into the intake, that’s it. It won’t effect power only response which is worthy of that noise
Haven't seen any comments about the hot air intake he has!! It's not sealed or heat shielded so it's straight sucking air coming right off the motor!! Almost touches the motor just sitting there 😅
That’s the sound Audi turbos intake side makes when drowning in oil 😂😂
That's sound my vw mad when the tyranny was going out terrible
That was dumb
Id imagine they wouldnt put it on the car if it didnt need it.
Mine does that without removing anything
no offense it sounds like shit
I try this on my a4 and not working
Where do I find this in a q50
The amount of heat soak is crazy bc these engines get really hot
If you genuinely think this impacts power or turbo life by a significant amount you dont know shit about how a turbo or wastegate works. The flutter is the impeller blades basically cutting through the unused air charge, if you measure impeller speed it does virtually nothing to the speed the turbo is spinning at. You arent running 70psi in your MQB, there will never be enough pressure coming back out the inlet to damage the impeller, shaft or blades in any significant extent. I know people who've ran dv unplugged for 200k on a single turbo without issues, i know people who've ran it plugged in for 30k before blowing a turbo. Its all circumstantial. The turbo is gonna blow up eventually, unplugging the DV isnt going to speed it up. Off throttle compressor surge is perfectly healthy, however if you're fluttering on throttle, you've got issues.
well said, this is perfect 👏🏻
Yeah they probably designed blowoff/ diverter valves for no reason you're right
th-cam.com/video/7W3MkIUFel0/w-d-xo.htmlsi=FYSKxseM2DmafHzR
@@chuckiechee Diverter valves are designed to reduce emissions, blow off valves are designed to sell a noise and in very extreme cases prevent damage to charge pipes and throttle plates (I'm talking about 2000hp+ boosted engines). Edit: I just watched that video and the guy said the turbo spins backwards when it happens, that is the moment you know he had no idea what he is talking about LOL, then he goes on to talk about on throttle surge and provides even more proof he has no idea.
Good explanation brother 👏👏
Sounds rubbish
You have no taste
@@bslothed3211 I have a different taste to you you mean, that's fine
MANUAL DRIVER FOUND 2ND GEAR
What the FUCKING hell? Sounds a bag of shit and all your doing is crapping the turbo . What a jerk. Ignore this folks
For the guys who says youre gonna blow your turbo or the engine I am using this mod like 1 year its unplugged it makes very good noice if you have air intake and the people thonk you run a big turbo on it 😂it is fun but on stock condicions i dont prefere on high boost it can damage from flutter inside the turbo but on stock condicion it makes fun no problem just to know i checked my boost with and without plugged when it whas plugged i get 0.8-07psi and with out plugged 0.67-07psi it drops a little bit but not too much so if you want to test it do it i hope i could help
Literally people running 50+ psi without a blow off valve, it's fine even on that much boost.
Me and my friend where installing a blow off valve on his car and wanted to see if this was real just as a joke...indeed it works but I wouldn't recommend it in the long run, do it once for the sound and leave it be, get a BOV it's $55 and will save you a ton in the long run
😭😭😭 the sound
Please do not do this to your car 🤦🏻♂️
Your wallet will go stututu
hey jason
Nice way to add silly amount of turbo lag
Except for the fact it doesn't add any turbo lag, if it did it wouldn't be common place in motorsport to not run a valve.
🤪🤪🤪
For automatic vehicles, n means nitrous. Keep in mind that it only works downhill.
destroyed turbo
You have a tat on your hand, its over kiddo
