Hi, i have the samsung UE50CU7172UXXH and cant even find if the tv is dlna certified . Everything is connected via LAN. Have a LG C1 also and no problem with my NAS it just show a icon for it like a external drive.

Did any real person/consumer figure out how to get their new (2024) Samsung TV to play sound through their Denon receiver? Lay person here who used to plug the HDMI cable into the back of the old Samsung TV, HDMI any port, and then plug the other end of the HDMI cable into any HDMI port in the back of my Denon receiver. Upgrading is often downgrading. Don’t fix what ain’t broken Samsung. I’m returning my new Samsung.

This did not help at all, I need to know where to go in my settings to get to what is going to show the DVD because it doesn't say dvd anywhere in settings. Turns out if you purchase a dvd player with an hdmi connection just plug that with a hdmi cord into the TV and it will show up automatically

for those who cannot find "add-on" tab, just click the "app" tab, after enter the app center, quickly click the number "1,2,3,4,5" on your remote control, and then a developer mode menu will pop up, then you can tick the "on" box, and then press the power button for 2 sec to reboot your TV, then you can proceed with your 3rd party app installing
