Ik begrijp de reden van de beslissing niet goed en ook niet waarop t is goed gekeurd.. is dat nou omdat ik me slecht inleef of omdat ik nog wel stamina en potentie zie? Zonder te disrespecten hoor!? Wat een kracht om je zus überhaupt het gesprek samen te kunnen voeren.. ik zou het gewoon niet kunnen.. ookal wil ik het zelf ook al sedert eind 19... Ik zou hoe dan ook niet kunnen accepteren.. al moet ik voor de rest van mijn leven me jokerpak aantrekken en haar entertainen , liever dat dan loslaten.. ik heb ontzag voor de kracht van de familie echt waar🙏 may she be in Gods embracing arms, watching something a 1000 yrs and still not be bored.. zo mooi daar. Moet zoveel jaren later nog zeer regelmatig aan je denken me buurmeisje/vriendinnetje en naamgenoot. Zoveel respect hoe jij die rotziekte hebt gedragen en zoveel begrip hoe je tot je keuze bent gekomen je was op. This was very difficult to watch because I too have MS and I'm scared of what the future holds for me. I will take the same path as Diana did when the time comes, when my body gets tired and no longer matches my mind. Here in Australia Euthanasia is illegal but they are fighting to get ”Dying with Dignity” bill passed and I pray it happens before my time 🙏🤞

An additional comment. This was one of the saddest euthanasia stories, ever. Although I believe euthanasia and assisted suicide is always wrong (as does most of Christianity, along with Orthodox Judaism, Islam, and a number of people who profess no religious faith), this beautiful young woman probably had many years of life ahead of her. It's still immoral, but more understandable when someone is elderly and terminally ill. There is so much wrong with this picture. There was much that could be done practically to improve her living situation. She and he partner could have had a power stair lift installed in their home. Or they could move to a one-floor home. Presumably, as her health declined, she may have been able to receive in-home health care by through their health system. Requiring assistance with activities of daily living is nothing to be ashamed of. It probably was for someone with her independent spirit, but given time she may well have adapted. She just never gave herself the chance. So very, very tragic. Instead of euthanasia, the medical system should have bought a power wheelchair to improve her mobility. She said that doctors said there was nothing more that could be done for her. If she and her partner could afford vacations abroad, did they consider seeking other medical opinions from France, Germany, or the UK at their expense, or demanding that their health care system at least seek consultations from experts from outside their nation? (If it were my husband in her position, I would have drained our savings to seek second, third, or fourth opinions anywhere in the world before giving in.) Was she willing to try experimental treatments? Was she evaluated and treated for depression? These subjects were not addressed in the video. My husband and I have provided more medical care (and then palliative care) for four cats then she was willing to do for herself. My heart breaks for her, basically because she was unable to live with the fact that even while her body was changing she was still a valuable and loved person on the inside, where it really counts.

Well theres no "do overs" if your "one way ticket gets you to Hell. Murder is a sin. Euthanasia is murder, it shows that you think you are your own god.In this world we have tribulation, that includes pain. But it is God's job to give and to take away...not ours. God have mercy on you.. I have a dear friend with severe MS who loves Jesus more than he ever did. His help, his joy is in Christ alone. And when hes had enough, God will take him home.

Now she can be at peace, she can fly like an angel. God Bless her heart and soul.

I have been watching a lot of documentaries like this but this made me cry so hard. Maybe because she was very you and a very beautiful soul.

Hello friends do you know that it's absolutely wrong to take or assist someone to take their own life? The decisions of our life and death is absolutely in God's hands and it's only him who have the right to decide on what to do with it. Do not encourage, assist or participate in anyway on taking both your life or someone else life. You will definitely end up in hell. If you think you are suffering on earth wait until you get to hell. Earth is like living in paradise when compared to hell. No matter how bad life on earth treated you, at least you are enjoying all the free things our heavenly father provided for us. Like sunshine, fresh air, daylight, foods, water, free will to do whatever we like. All these essential and important things we take for granted here on earth none of it exist in hell. And plus being tormented, tortured and controlled by Lucifer and his demons for eternity. Please my friends l have experienced many challenges and heart breaks that Satan designed to destroy my life and send me to hell. But I thanked our heavenly father that l am alive today to advice people. Please there are always better choices. l have observed that the number of people committing suicide is now very high. Satan is sending many people to hell. May our heavenly father have mercy on us amen

So many people are so sure that Heaven is the ultimate destination, even after self murder. How can anyone know that in the face of contradiction? My disease will have to take me. I will not allow myself to get to the level of murder. If my disease takes me, then it will be by the hand of the One who alone is the Sole Authority over life and death. We are instructed to persevere to the end, and then reward beyond anything we can imagine. Escapism is not rewarded with anything but eternal separation and darkness.

I can't believe what negative things I am seeing. This is the individuals choice. They only know what they suffer. We should respect this. It is a brave choice, not taken lightly I am sure. Never judge what you may decide in the future. A brave and beautiful woman. My daughter works in a hospital and sees people die in pain. She also feels this choice should be given to those who feel the right. We do not feel their pain and despair.Who are we to say its a sin? Those alive and well commit more sin than these people who suffer. Please be respectful as we do not know their full suffering.
