The 319s are going off lease and the ex London Midland 323s are coming to Northern. Reason being, 319s can't be used in multiple as they're too long as a pair, unlike two 323s. The 319s in Thameslink livery are on short term loan so won't be re-liveried. The 350 to Euston takes about four hours. And, yes, four a car service is really daft. They get really packed as a lot of people get on at Stafford and Crewe. The CAF 195s are two and three car formations, whilst their almost identical electric 331s are three and four car formations. EMR. East Midlands Railway, run by Abbelio. Stagecoach is no more. Apart from their current partnership with Virgin on West Coast, and that ends in December. I don't mind the 142. We still get them at Southport. I've travelled from Leeds to Southport in them with no adverse effects. I much prefer the view from them, large windows with low backed seats gives you a great view of the passing scenery. Last month in one week I managed to travel on class 142, 143, and 144 Pacers of Northern, Transport for Wales, and GWR.
