January 26th 2025, Saint John New Brunswick Day 392 4 minutes 1 degrees. Well my tub sprung a leak, it was my fault a plastic draining valve does not stand a chance against a kettle bell. I'm going to use some flex seal and pack it up with snow. I'm planning on buying a new tub and chiller next month, so let's hope this fix will last until then. January 25th 2025, Saint John New Brunswick Day 391 4 minutes 1.5 degrees. That was much better, the water temperature is more inline with January on the east coast of Canada. I was able to do another 800 push-ups yesterday so today is the rest day. Happy Saturday. January 24th 2025, Saint John New Brunswick 4 minutes 7 degrees. Day 390, 4 minutes 7 degrees. I'm an asshole . That is the result of filing your tub with buckets of warm water yesterday. Tomorrow it will be back to the frigid temperatures we are used to, frost bite here I come. Back to the gym today to see if we can do another 600 Push-ups, to keep this goal alive. @@sebastiendubois3653 I don't think so, and but if you ever want to do a challenge start small, try a 7 day and do fewer reps or different exercises, if you like it try to extend a week or a full 30 days. The biggest thing is being consistent.

Yes sir, some days are mentally harder than others, today being a Monday after 3 days off it wasn't as easy to get up as usual. Tomorrow is a new day.

@@ONLY31363as you can see from the red of my skin the water is back to the frigid temperatures we are used to on the east coast.
What are the benefits are you getting this cold plunge, me also want to start from India.. Could your positive and negatives
@@madhusudhan1284 thanks for watching my video. The only negative I could think of is that it's uncomfortable, you are intentionally putting yourself in the water which is cold, but that gets easier the more you do it. The benefits for me are mental As well as physically. Mentally not letting the voice in your head win, it's much easier to not do something then to do it and once you do a cold plunge you feel better and it's a mental win. For me doing this every morning, I'm starting my day with a win. Physically the cold is great for muscle recovery I workout a lot and push my body past comfortable almost daily so the cold helps with preventing sore muscles. The Internet says the temperature doesn't have to be that cold to get the full benefits of cold water therapy. 50 to 60 Fahrenheit (10 to 15 degree Celsius) I hope that helps, I wish you the best of luck.

@@ONLY31363 to be honest I thought the same when I watch others do it, but once I tried it and kept doing it, I was hooked. If you ever try it just be consistent and start slow. I got faith you'll like it to, and if not at least you tried, more then most

@@jimmyintuitive to be honest I didn't think I had the balls to do this at first. I watched someone on Instagram for over a year before I even did my first plunge. And the first time was less than a minute in 12 degree water, but I kept at it and slowly I built a tolerance and it became more manageable now it's something most days I look forward too. I have faith in you, if you try it just keep doing it every day, the hardest thing is being consistent. Let me know if you decide to plunge, I want to hear how it went.
@matthewstevens4043 I'll definitely start with warm to cold showers first. I'll try to work up to it, that's a hell of a challenge.

@@BigRob3425 it's surprising how fast it freezes over in the winter, 3 inch pieces of ice in less then 24 hours
