The Chilling Chambers Maze: Lights On Tour at Knott's Scary Farm
Join us on an exclusive lights-on tour of "The Chilling Chambers" maze at Knott's Scary Farm! This unique opportunity allowed us to explore every intricate detail of this iconic maze, without the usual scare actors, giving us a chance to truly appreciate the craftsmanship behind the terror.
A little history: In tribute to the original Scary Farm maze from 1977, "10 Chilling Chambers," this modern version pays homage to its eerie past while delivering fright to today's audiences. Guided by The Keeper, we venture through a shadowy cathedral, encountering themes from classic mazes of yesteryear. As you walk through, you'll relive over 50 years of fear, confronting sinister collections and infamous characters from the past.
As someone who generally avoids haunted mazes, I wouldn't have entered under normal circumstances. Even with the lights on and no scare actors, some animatronics still managed to catch me off guard! My nervous chatter led to a lot of editing to make the experience smoother for you, the viewer, and I've added ambient music to enhance the atmosphere. In my anxious opinion, this maze felt endless but incredibly immersive, even incorporating scents, like in the elephant scene!

I love that they added the depths and dark entities tombstones at the end.
The sigh at the end was mostly relief to be outdoors in fresh air again, it got pretty warm in there and we were in there a lot longer than we expected 🤭

I understand haven't a separate container is helpful yet its a waste since there's already a container. Sad to know Disney doesn't actually care about the environment & it shows their guests not to care about the environment
Idk how that would work out logistically without that added container, those souvenir cups are not clean, so they would have to be washed before use, and then would get extremely sticky and gross after you eat from it and would need to be washed again after? That wastes resources too, it’s not a perfect system but nobody’s journey is 100% perfect, we do what we can to weigh out in other parts of life 🤷♀️
@@beckoningadventure if the souvenir cups aren't clean then why give then to customers? Also Dinsye can afford biodegradable bowls which is better than plastic
