Distortion from the driver material and design are absolutely horrendous 😢. These drivers remind me of the polk psw505 driver. Take the driver out. This style of driver uses a short vc in length also a short winding on the coil and leads that do slap the basket over time and a very entry level spider as well but in regards drivers coil leaves the gap at high xmaxx loosing linearity and overall control of the mass rather quickly. Trust me this driver is plain Jane compared to a peerless tymphany(what svs modeled their driver after if I'm not mistaken) I've owned numerous drivers in many different applications. Currently running a stereo integrity 18" w/dual passive radiators on a svs plate amp 😑 I know I know but it was a spare from the upgrades of the pair of pb16 ultras. And btw did you know that the driver for the ported svs and sealed svs are designed differently to best suit their respective enclosure this is very thoughtful considering drivers do act differently in each enclosure.

Far from.being the best, they push alot of air and they are fun in terms of bringing the same cinema deep bass feel but when the scene becomes complex they strugle to keep up (not dynamic enough).

Airpods are good at this well one thing is that i cant hear anymore so thank u

108DB? I’m sure this sub can probably get louder if a better amp was installed. My Sony SS-RG444s get around 118DB without distortion. Nice subwoofer though. :)

At 8hz i could see the cone on my 18 inch sub quivering and all the dishes in the kitchen cabinets are rattling. I think I'll buy another 18 inch sub for true stereo. Boy, at 14hz the whole room is alive!

For it's size, nothing can even touch a Sunfire True Sub or HRS.

The JL Audio Gotham, the Paradigm Sub 2 and Thor's Hammer by Wilson Audio are all better than this
