Coming from a place where I used to play heavily approximately 10yrs ago, and now simply dabble and collect, the way WotC have released so many different pack types, card versions etc. I feel the best pack value is to enter events, enjoy the games, get win or lucky draw packs. I could be wrong but it just doesnt feel the same cracking packs from a store as value is more often than not washed.

Mirran Safehouse copies abilities of lands in the GY. So it is could be a Wasteland, or Fetchland. A Gaea's Cradle maybe... a cool card for a lands deck like Lord Windgrace.

I am determined to build a All Secret Lair commander deck.

I think set draft boxes are still the best value to open and draft with friends even if you keep all the cards. $150 is not bad value for the box in the US but in SA you don’t break even and with set boxes there is no extra value from a draft or sealed experience. I fortunately am able to get these boxes cheaper so it would be worth it for me to crack packs but in SA singles are probably the way to go unless you playing limited formats.

Talk about a first pack!! That Plat angel is so beautiful. It is something I wanted from my box. Sadly did not pull one :(
