Blender 1st Sculpt and Animation
This is my 1st sculpt, and animation. Done following the Blender Character Creator v2.0 for Video Games Design on Udemy. We used a mixamo animation and I know there is a lot of stretching in his neck but I didn't think he turned out too bad for a 1st try.

3D Composite Part 6

The finishing touches... I did go back in and make a few more changes after this video. I deleted my stamps and went back down into the layers. I added some blur to the magic effects on the staff, and added more saturation to the dragon, then repeated all the last steps over again. If your interested in the story or just want to see the final work you can check it our on amazon: a.co/2r6n5el

3D Composites Part 3

I had to break this up into 4 parts, it takes me a lot longer to work when i also have to talk about it and think of how to explain it. :) This part covers preparing the background and then making your figures appear attached to the background and not just stuck on top.

Daz Canvases
มุมมอง 3.1K7 ปีที่แล้ว
How to render canvases in Daz Studio 4.10 and what to do with them in photoshop after they are rendered to make them workable files. I have been working with Daz for just under a year, so I still stumble around a bit. This is just one way I use canvases, I use them differently for every render, it just depends on what I am needing for that particular art piece. I hope this helps some of you, fe...

Nice video. I just found your chan. I am new to DAZ and I find it fascinating all the different ways people wrestle a final image into submission. I like the idea of using photoshop, so that you don't have to render an entire scene. Often times you are using a background image in DAZ anyway! It seems pointless to render that when you do it much more efficiently in PS? Thanks for the tip. I'm binge watching this series now.

When I click tab for my DOF to be shown . Nothing pops up And I render using Iray it's black. That's not right.

A few years ago, I posted a script to set precise focal distance in Studio. It's over on the DAZ3D forums at www.daz3d.com/forums/viewthread/43636/. It takes the eyeballing out of the equation. Create a Null and parent it to the figure where you want the critical focus point (such as to the cornea of one of the eyes) and then run the script.

I'm really enjoying these, but your voice on them is barely audible even with my volume turned up to full. I know you can't fix these now.... but maybe if you do more?

That was very cool. I hadn't learned out to do that yet and I'm totally going to try that in Gimp. I would love to see a video on grounding in the future. Adding a render to a photograph and making it look like it belongs is something I still have problems doing. Great video!
