Heavy rain means time to pull pond down

Forecast for heavy rain we pulled the pond down 8in to reduce the chance for spill way use. Overnight with rain it rose over 12inches. Which recharged the three systems.

Is it better to use mulcher attachment like you did over a brush cutter in this job/scenario?
what is the pack on top of the 333?
Is that a different cooler than the FAE cooler you had before?

@@fourdogslandclearingLLC Looks good. Blends alot better. I have the Fecon on top of my 333G and hate how much it stands out. Wish it blended in with the machine better.
Is the cooler necessary in all seasons or does it only matter during summer temperatures? Considered investing in a mulch head for my 333g and just avoided summer use.
Get a cooler. Even with cooler ambient Temps, It prevents wear on machine pump, head, etc. I haven't heard anyone complain "yet" about hydraulic temps being to cold.
@@fourdogslandclearingLLC Agreed. It is worth it. I have had my cooler on since I got my 333G so I don't have a without baseline to go off of but, hydraulic temps were amazing. Granted yesterday it was only 70ish outside, but hydraulic temps at the highest were 143 but mostly around 138-140.
Will this fit my 4040 m tractor with 3rd function hydraulics?

I have heard thru the Grapevine that there is a 350 skid steer in the works with 120hp that might be the ticket and the dust issue in the cab I have built a fix for that clogging little filter

John Deere 333g as a mulcher I have had mine for 1 year and 4 months. Started with the John Deere mulch attachment had to have the Hydraulic motor rebuild 2 times because of seals, the 2nd time bearings fell apart and were black and blue metal. Bought a Fecon 60" cut was great at first. I will tell you for brush it is great but when you get into trees these small mulches and the 333g just don't have what it takes. The mulcher uses every bit of Hydraulic pressure and sometimes difficult to steer or back up and have to turn mulcher off to get power to move. So for small jobs great but everyday all day over heating issues with engine and Hydraulics
They work pretty good on pepper trees

This is not pto driven, this requires at least an 80 horsepower machine with high flow hydraulics and auxiliary cooling. Pto driven three point mounted drum mulchers are available but their performance is nothing like this.

I run a 331g one step below the 333g and I haven't had any problems with it running hot at all

Good luck with it not running too hot, I have the same rig and when the temps reach 80D it overheats. I have had nothing but trouble with it. I don't think the 333G has been engineered correctly to run a forestry head.

They have an oil cooler that can be added to help
