Gold Mouse in the F2 Treasure Room is an absolute troll move on the Devs' part, especially for max% speedruns. That single bit on RNG doesn't mean _seconds_ to your run, it adds _minutes._

Hello, I am not a speedrunner but I am trying to get an understanding of the general strategy for not breaking hold on the boss ghosts, it seems difficult to find a clear explanation for. Is the idea that after every 10 hp lost on the boss you want to let go of the stick to neutral and then pull in the opposite direction that luigi is facing in order to maintain a hold on the boss until another 10 HP of the boss is lost and then repeat? I would really appreciate an explanation on this really general aspect of the game
